If that's how you work too, this is the role for you.\nAbout the role:\nAs a senior member of the engineering team you will be instrumental in planning, designing, and implementing applications that will scale with EverQuote systems.\nIn this role, you will build applications and services that meet the needs of the business while also being scalable, performant and easy to maintain. This is a full-stack role with a\nbackend focus, where you will be expected to take full ownership of large pieces of business critical functionality.\nYou will be joining a team of talented, collaborative engineers eager to grow and deliver.\n\nWhat you'll do:\nDesign and delivery of key business applications and solutions.\nEnhance code quality, productivity and velocity through the use of AI assisted technology.\nAdhere to our Software Development processes whilst improving our Engineering culture by identifying and addressing inefficiencies in our processes.\nProactively engage with cross functional stakeholders including Product Managers and Architecture team. \nWhat you bring to the team:\n5+ years of professional programming experience including experience at a software product company.\nDegree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.\nExperience in one or more of the following languages Typescript, Golang, Python or other server side languages.\nYou have worked in a microservice-based architecture and are proficient in Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience building, deploying and monitoring cloud based applications, systems & infrastructure at scale (ideally on AWS).\nDeep experience designing systems and communicating designs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nNice to have:\nYou are passionate about sharing knowledge and mentoring teammates.\nYou are able to quickly diagnose and solve code problems, as well as help others unblock themselves.\nYou have an entrepreneurial mindset, want to grow a business, and love working with a team.\nYou are comfortable using data to support and validate your concepts.\nYou thrive in a fast-paced work environment where everyday contributions have a big impact.\nThe base salary offered for this position is determined by several factors, including the applicant’s job-related skills, relevant experience, education or training, and work location.\nIn addition to base salary, our total compensation package may include participation in variable cash bonus programs, equity, and a comprehensive range of health, welfare, and wellbeing benefits based on eligibility which are designated by role. \nYour recruiter can provide more details about the specific salary/OTE range for your role during the hiring process.\nStatement on Fair Employment and Equal Opportunities\nEverQuote NI is committed to ensuring equal opportunity for all job applicants and employees.
