We are EVERSANA.\n The purpose of this role is to support project teams attain optimal reimbursement for our client’s products; the core responsibilities will include contribution to the development of project deliverables by leveraging evidence (clinical, economic, and humanistic) to demonstrate the value of treatments to Canadian payers. This position will assist project leads in their execution of our clients’ national, provincial, and private payer strategic market access plans to achieve timely reimbursement.\nAssociate Managers have at least 1 year of experience on the Canadian Market Access & Pricing team and are fully competent in the core activities required to support compilation of submissions to Canadian Health Technology Agencies (HTA), private payers and the provinces. Associate Managers assist in the training of Associates\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\nOur employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams. These results are achieved by:\nSupporting and assisting the EVERSANA team with submissions to the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technologies in Health (CADTH), Institut National d'Excellence en Santé et Services Sociaux (INESSS), the Patented Medicine Prices Review Board (PMPRB), provincial agencies/programs, and private payers through:\nConducting background research, summarizing research findings, and critically appraising relevant literature and data sources to support and develop submission dossier components for CADTH, INESSS, the PMPRB, the provinces and private payers.\nAssisting in the writing of reports and developing submission dossier components such as clinical landscape review, clinical summaries, budget impact models/reports, pharmacoeconomic evaluations, payer-specific documentation and forms, and pricing analysis/strategy.\nKeeping abreast of CADTH and INESSS submission guideline requirements and supporting project leads by compiling submission documents and developing administrative templates and forms for these HTA review bodies.\nHaving a specialized knowledge in the Private Payer and Provincial Copy submission requirements and supporting project leads by developing and uploading/emailing submission documents to private payers and provinces.\nPreparing draft slide decks for project leads (e.g. for landscape reviews, CADTH/INESSS/private payers, the pCPA and advisory boards)\nAssisting the development of tools to be used in the negotiation with the pCPA and for Product Listing Agreements (PLAs)\nDeveloping skills and experience in team leadership, project management and a client facing role through:\nConducting internal and external presentations\nLiaising between clients and Canadian payers\nParticipating in weekly client check-in calls and assisting project leads with agendas and minutes\nLeading on defined scope projects such as private payer submissions, provincial copies, biosimilar submissions and targeted landscape reviews.\nMentoring Associates by training them in submission set up and compilation requirements and the process for uploading/emailing submission documents to private payers and provinces.\nMonitoring and analyzing the access and reimbursement landscape in Canada to provide clients with updates regarding the ever-changing market access environment\nContributing to research efforts undertaken by the EVERSANA team to publish on issues of pharmaceutical policy in Canada\nDemonstrate a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion through continuous development, modeling inclusive behaviors, and proactively managing bias. \nAll other duties as assigned \nEXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:\nTravel: Some travel may be required for meetings with clients, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management\nHours: 37.5 hours per week, business hours 9am-5pm Monday to Friday EST.\nThe above list reflects the general details necessary to describe the expectations of the position and shall not be construed as the only expectations that may be assigned for the position.\nAn individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the expectations \n MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.\n Education: University degree (Masters is an asset) in health services research, public health, epidemiology, economics, or pharmacy\nExperience and/or Training:\nDemonstrated ability to be part of project teams\nStrong multitasking, organization, prioritization, and project management skills\nFlexibility and ability to adapt quickly to changing customer needs/demands and to environment changes\nStrong research, analytical and problem-solving skills\nExcellent interpersonal and networking skills and capacity to manage conflict constructively\nExcellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills\nLanguage: Business level English proficiency is required; reading, writing and communication in French is an asset\nTechnology/Equipment: in-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of applications, Excel in particular\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nExperience and/or Training:\nUnderstanding of the Canadian healthcare landscape, HTA, Canadian private and public payers\nKnowledge of the practical application of Pharmacoeconomics in HTA review\nRelevant pharmaceutical/biotech industry market access experience is an asset\nPHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:\nThe physical and mental requirements along with the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.\nOffice: While performing the essential functions of this job the employee is frequently required to reach, grasp, stand and/or sit for long periods of time (up to 90% of the shift), walk, talk and hear; occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000 and is not applicable to locations outside of the Canada. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this position. Compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living).
