We are EVERSANA.\n ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nAs a Senior Software Engineer - React.js / Next.js, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering scalable, high-quality web applications. You will work closely with product managers, designers, QA engineers, backend engineers, and other cross-functional teams to build modern, responsive, and reliable digital experiences.\nDesign, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable web applications using React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and RESTful APIs.\nBuild responsive, accessible, reusable, and high-performance UI components using React.js, Next.js, and modern front-end development practices.\nDevelop and maintain front-end applications that integrate with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, third-party systems, and enterprise platforms.\nWork extensively with Next.js concepts including server-side rendering (SSR), static site generation (SSG), routing, API integration, and front-end performance optimization.\nImplement state management and data-fetching solutions using technologies such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Context API, React Query/TanStack Query, or SWR.\nCollaborate closely with backend engineers to define API contracts, integration patterns, error handling, and data flows.\nDevelop clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-tested code following modern front-end architecture and engineering best practices.\nEnsure applications meet standards for performance, scalability, accessibility, usability, and security.\nConduct comprehensive code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback to team members.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across development, testing, staging, and production environments.\nWork with DevOps and engineering teams to support CI/CD, cloud deployments, monitoring, release management, and production support.\nParticipate in technical design and architecture discussions and contribute to decisions related to front-end architecture and application scalability.\nMentor junior and mid-level developers and contribute to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.\nStay current with emerging React, Next.js, TypeScript, and modern web development technologies and practices.\n MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES\nThe requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.\n6+ years of hands-on software development experience, with significant experience building enterprise-level web applications.\nStrong hands-on experience with React.js and modern React development practices.\nStrong hands-on experience with Next.js and modern application development patterns.\nStrong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.\nStrong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive web design, and modern browser technologies.\nHands-on experience developing reusable and scalable React components and front-end architectures.\nStrong understanding of Next.js concepts including SSR, SSG, routing, API integration, rendering strategies, and performance optimization.\nExperience with React state management and data-fetching libraries such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, Context API, React Query/TanStack Query, or SWR.\nExperience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL services.\nStrong understanding of REST API integration, asynchronous programming, error handling, authentication, and authorization.\nExperience with modern UI frameworks, styling systems, or component libraries such as Tailwind CSS, Material UI, Chakra UI, Styled Components, Emotion, Shadcn/UI, or Radix UI.\nExperience with modern front-end build tools and package managers such as Vite, Webpack, Babel, npm, Yarn, or pnpm.\nExperience with Git and source control, Agile methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.\nHands-on experience with front-end testing and automation frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, Playwright, or Selenium.\nUnderstanding of web application security, including authentication/authorization patterns, OAuth2, JWT, secure coding practices, and common web vulnerabilities.\nExperience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.\nFamiliarity with Docker and containerized application environments.\nKnowledge of application monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK.\nStrong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional engineering teams.\nExperience supporting applications in production environments, including incident troubleshooting and resolution.\nHands-on experience with incident management processes and tools such as ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\nHealthcare domain experience, including familiarity with healthcare workflows, terminology, HIPAA, PHI, or healthcare applications.\nExperience with other modern front-end frameworks such as Vue.js, Nuxt.js, Angular, Svelte, SvelteKit, Remix, or Gatsby.\nExperience building and maintaining design systems and reusable component libraries.\nExperience with micro-frontends or large-scale front-end architectures.\nExperience with GraphQL, API Gateways, gRPC, or event-driven integrations.\nFamiliarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.\nUnderstanding of distributed systems, caching strategies, scalability, performance optimization, and web application architecture.\nExperience with web performance optimization, including Core Web Vitals, code splitting, lazy loading, caching, and bundle optimization.\nExperience with accessibility standards, including WCAG and accessible UI development.\nExperience working with message-driven architectures such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS, or AWS SNS.\nExperience contributing to technical
