We are searching for someone who wants to be a valued contributor and member of a talented and dynamic team of lawyers, paralegals and business professionals.\nThe Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Coordinator works closely with the DEI team to assist in implementing and administering the firm’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (“DEI”) programs and will handle client, industry, and internal data requests.\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssists with the collection of data for internal and external surveys and responds to client and industry survey requests, as needed.\nProvides assistance, as needed, with various external Diversity surveys to ensure correct data is provided by Eversheds Sutherland.\nAssists with the implementation of policies and programs to attract, retain and promote a diverse workforce for the firm.\nSupports Attorney Affinity Group logistics including heritage month planning.\nConducts new/lateral associate onboarding.\nFacilitates time and format of meetings with affinity groups, lawyers and committees.\nWorks with internal creative team to design invitations for affinity group, Women’s Leadership Initiative, and DEI Department events.\nAttends affinity group events or internal events; coordinates registration, name tags, contact sheets, materials and other logistics.\nCollaborates with DEI Department team members across all offices, as needed.\nConducts research as needed to meet departmental goals.\nPerforms administrative and other duties as needed.\nQualifications & Experience\nRequired Qualifications\nTwo to three years of experience working in a similarly sized, multi-office legal or professional services organization.\nEducation\nA Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or an equivalent combination of an Associate’s degree and related experience.\nSkills\nExcellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook are required\nExcellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills are required\nDetail-oriented and organized\nAbility to multi-task and prioritize workloads\nAbility to present ideas in a business-friendly and user-friendly language\nStrong project management, organizational, writing and presentation skills\nGood judgment\nAttention to detail\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills\nTeam-oriented and able to work harmoniously and effectively with others\nAble to preserve confidentiality and exercise discretion\nTakes initiative and follows through on projects\nAble to work under pressure\nAble to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines and priorities.\nThis is a hybrid role and the salary ranges for this position vary depending on the geographic location and other factors such as experience, internal equity, market data, and job-related considerations. The range for this position is from $55,000 - $65,000, with offers contingent upon the various factors.
