In this work environment, all team members are part of a community and appreciated by the people they work with – residents and coworkers – every day. \nSummary:Performs and coordinates the detailed accounting functions as it related to Accounts Payable; Exercises independent and objection judgement while following established accounting principles and procedures when performing designated duties. \nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n1. Processes high volume of expense by reviewing, validating appropriate approvers, verifying appropriate sales tax charges, and verifying information prior to posting invoice data into accounting software\n2. Assists with managing Accounts Payable mailbox used for invoice submission and vendor communications; compiles invoices for processing; addresses vendor questions\n3. Effectively communicates with outside vendors and internal EverTrue employees to acquire outstanding invoices and information\n4. Tracks and follows-up on outstanding invoices, and analyzes and resolves any disputes on invoices\n5. Assists the A/P Manager with compiling weekly payments, ACH, Paymode, AutoPay, Purchasing card, employee reimbursement, and checks\n6. Process and audit all resident refunds per EverTrue policy\n7. Runs and manages various daily payables processes, reconciles the Purchasing Card transactions, and autopay bank account\n8. Investigates and resolves issues associated with processing of invoices and purchase orders in Microsoft D365 and Exflow accounts payable system\n9. Responsible for Vendor Master Data oversight which includes reviewing supplier information as needed (name change, remit to address, 1099 information, etc.)\n10. Mentors and trains new associates11. Assumes the responsibility for special activities, projects, and analysis as needed to support the Finance Department\n12. Performs an active role in improving and streamlining processes in the accounts payable department to improve productivity and efficiency, eliminating redundancy; Demonstrates a flexible attitude towards ongoing process improvements and financial system enhancements\n13. Performs other duties to support the Accounting Department, including but not limited to providing coverage for A/P team members, including the A/P Manager’s responsibilities, at times and as designated)\nQualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\n\nAssociates Degree required; Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred\n\nAt least 5 years of prior experience\n\nExperience in Microsoft D365 Accounts Payable and Exflow, preferred\n\nSolid experience with an Accounts Payable Automation software, required\n\nStrong organizational skills; detail oriented\n\nAbility to multi-task and prioritize tasks\n\nAbility to meet deadlines\n\nEffective written and verbal communication skills\n\nSolid Microsoft Office Excel skills\n\nAccounts payable or general accounting experience, required\n\nPhysical Activities and Demands:The physical activities, demands and work environment described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
