As a database engineer with extensive experience in relational database engineering, spatial databases, and enterprise database architecture, you know how to manage and secure database technology. The world can’t wait.QualificationsYou Have:   \n\n12+ years of experience with software development methodologies, including structured and object-oriented programming\n\n12+ years of experience with relational database design, development, testing, and maintenance\n\n4+ years of experience with spatial databases, including PostGIS, Oracle Spatial, or equivalent technologies\n\nExperience designing scalable databases for multi-source data ingestion and integration\n\nExperience with enterprise architecture, system information modeling, and database design\n\nExperience developing software solutions for multi-source intelligence processing and data fusion\n\nExperience with system integration, workflow implementation, and web-based development\n\nExperience analyzing system functionality, performance, and design requirements\n\nTS/SCI clearance\n\nBachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science \n\nNice If You Have:   \n\n5+ years of experience with PostgreSQL administration or development\n\nExperience with distributed databases, high availability, or cloud database environments\n\nExperience migrating legacy databases to cloud environments\n\nExperience with AWS, Azure, or government cloud platforms\n\nExperience with data fusion, geolocation tracking, or object aggregation algorithms\n\nExperience processing large-scale geospatial, time-series, or streaming data\n\nExperience optimizing data ingestion and ETL/ELT pipelines\n\nExperience with database security controls and performance tuning\n\nExperience with spatial technologies such as Snowflake Geospatial, Elasticsearch, MongoDB, or Apache Sedona\n\nExperience with Oracle RAC, Exadata, Linux environments, web services, or data archives\n\nClearance: \n  Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is required \nCompensation at EverWatch is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.
