The incumbent will provide analytical services and technical solutions to meet business needs, facilitating holistic business analysis and reporting of vital Key Performance Indicators. The incumbent will connect various business systems and data silos, working with business leaders to understand needs and effectively communicate technical solutions. The Database and Applications Developer assists in maintaining data integrity and support data governance policies.\nPrimary Responsibilities and Duties: \nDesign, develop, support, and document applications, tools, integrations, and related databases, aligning with Everwise’s programming, security, and design standards.\nCreate ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) to support data integration needs.\nBuild reporting solutions using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) based on user needs and available information.\nPrepare and analyze data, including locating, profiling, cleansing, extracting, mapping, importing, transforming, validating, and modeling data to drive business objectives.\nAssist database and software developers in building optimized databases for applications.\nWrite optimized SQL queries and stored procedures for integration with other applications.\nDevelop reports, Key Performance Indicators, and dashboards that meet reporting needs, with an emphasis on clear data presentation to support decision-making.\nAnalyze client needs, identifying opportunities and problems to define effective solutions within Everwise’s structure, technology, resources, and user capabilities.\nData Governance: Assist in enforcing data validation rules and supporting data governance policies to ensure data accuracy and integrity.\nEngage in full-stack development, working with C#/.NET for web-based applications and React and other JavaScript frameworks.\nAssumes additional responsibilities as necessary for the continued growth and advancement of the Credit Union.\nKnowledge/Skills:\nStrong aptitude for creativity, mathematics, and logic, along\nStrong interpersonal skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nDemonstrated adaptability and self-motivation for continuous learning.\nBasic understanding of data governance principles and best practices.\nMinimum Requirements:\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.\nExperience with SSIS and SSRS is required.\n1 + years’ experience developing solutions using Microsoft SQL Server is required.\n1 + years’ experience in C#/.NET web-based development experience required.\nExperience with SQL and approaches to designing and using relational databases.\nWeb Services and API experience required.\nFamiliarity with application security and defensive coding skills required.\nClient-side web technologies: CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and Ajax (frameworks like React a plus) preferred.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Azure is preferred.\nKnowledge of ServiceNow, TFS, Azure DevOps is preferred.\nLocation Eligibility\nThis position is open to candidates residing in the South Bend-Mishawaka region or Greater Indianapolis region.\nEverwiseis an equal opportunity employer.
