We are working to create a world where every drug is used to treat every disease it possibly can, so that no patient suffers when an existing treatment could help them. Rather than starting with a single disease or drug, we take an “all-vs-all\" approach, systematically looking across every FDA-approved drug and every known disease to surface repurposing opportunities most likely to help patients. We are also the first organization to take end-to-end ownership of that process: from identifying promising repurposing opportunities, to validating it in the lab and/or clinic, to working with physicians, payers, and patient advocacy groups to get it to the patients who need it. We are filling a gap left by the current biomedical system, which doesn’t systematically pursue new uses for old drugs. Every Cure pairs AI-driven prediction with rigorous review from our medical team, plus close collaboration with healthcare professionals and patient advocacy groups, to unlock the full potential of existing medicines to treat every disease and every patient we possibly can. \nInspired by Every Cure’s co-founders' work repurposing drugs for Castleman disease and other rare diseases, Every Cure is advancing repurposed treatments for neglected diseases and has been featured in The New Yorker, The New York Times, USA Today, Good Morning America, Nature, and other news media. Led by a talented leadership team and an outstanding Board of Directors, Every Cure is supported through funding from leading philanthropic organizations like Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, TED’s Audacious Project, as well as the federal agency ARPA-H. \nOur approach: \nAI-Powered Identification: We use advanced artificial intelligence to analyze the world’s biomedical knowledge and identify FDA-approved drugs that can be repurposed for conditions with unmet needs. This cutting-edge technology enables us to explore new therapeutic possibilities efficiently. \nOpen-Source Commitment: Many of our methods' code, quality-checking tools, and knowledge graph pipeline are open-source, and our drug list, disease list, and knowledge graph-based drug-disease scores are freely available. We aim to foster collaboration and transparency within the scientific community and unlock the potential for discovering new treatments. \nHigh-Impact Focus: We prioritize drug repurposing opportunities that will relieve the most suffering and have the greatest impact possible. \nRigorous Validation: Promising opportunities are thoroughly validated through laboratory and clinical studies to confirm their efficacy and safety before advancing to broader application. \nStrategic Marketing and Access: We disseminate information about effective repurposed treatments through multiple channels and are committed to ensuring that new cures are accessible to all patients. \nEvery Cure is seeking a mission-driven Research Fellow to evaluate, nominate, and advance high-potential drug repurposing opportunities. \nThis role is designed for a scientific generalist: someone with strong scientific expertise who is intellectually curious, adaptable, and energized by moving across disease areas rather than remaining within a single specialty. The Research Fellow will critically evaluate scientific evidence, identify knowledge gaps, and determine what needs to happen next to advance promising opportunities. \nThis person will also play a more execution-focused role within the research team, helping move opportunities from evaluation into action through laboratory studies, real-world evidence research, clinical research, and external partnerships. The ideal candidate brings strong scientific judgment, industry experience, and practical experience working with CROs or other third-party research organizations. \nWhile the role is intentionally broad, expertise that adds to the team’s existing capabilities - particularly in immunology, aging, computational biology, or biostatistics - will be highly valued. \nHow you will make an impact: \nEvaluate Drug Repurposing Opportunities: Conduct rigorous reviews of potential drug repurposing candidates to assess therapeutic likelihood, feasibility, evidence quality, and potential patient impact, while identifying key knowledge gaps. \nDevelop and Execute Advancement Plans: Design and help execute research plans that may include laboratory experiments, real-world evidence studies, and clinical research to determine whether an opportunity should advance. \nDrive Evidence-Based Decisions: Synthesize complex and sometimes conflicting evidence, identify limitations and potential biases, and develop clear recommendations on whether and how an opportunity should move forward. \nLead External Research Collaborations: Plan and execute research through CROs, external laboratories, academic institutions, and other third-party organizations, including defining research needs and coordinating sponsored research. \nCollaborate Across Disciplines: Engage with disease experts, researchers, internal teams, and external partners to bring diverse perspectives into the evaluation and advancement of drug repurposing opportunities. \nContribute to Every Cure’s Research Platform: Partner with the Tech team and use emerging technologies, including AI-enabled research tools, to improve how Every Cure identifies, evaluates, and advances opportunities. \nSupport Team and Organizational Goals: Contribute new scientific perspectives and practical research capabilities to a growing team, collaborate with the Scientific Advisory Committee on key decisions, and support junior team members as appropriate. \nDisseminate Scientific Findings: Support peer-reviewed publications, conference presentations, grant proposals, and other efforts to share Every Cure’s research with the broader scientific and patient communities. \nWhat you bring to the team: \nEducation \nAdvanced degree (MD, PharmD, or PhD) in biomedical sciences or a related field. \n3-5 years of relevant academic and/or professional experience. \nExperience \nStrong foundation in human biology and/or pharmacology. \nIndustry experience and an understanding of how scientific research moves from evaluation toward execution. \nExperience critically evaluating laboratory studies, real-world evidence, clinical research, and other forms of scientific evidence. \nDemonstrated experience planning or executing research through CROs, external laboratories, academic collaborators, or other third-party research organizations. \nExperience collaborating with diverse internal and external stakeholders. \nAbility to work across disease areas and quickly develop fluency outside your core scientific specialty. \nSkills \nStrong scientific judgment and the ability to rigorously analyze and synthesize complex evidence. \nAbility to identify knowledge gaps, biases, limitations, and conflicting findings. \nAbility to translate scientific evidence into clear recommendations and next steps. \nExperience designing and/or interpreting laboratory or real-world evidence studies. \nComfort using AI-enabled research technologies and emerging scientific tools, or a demonstrated willingness to learn and adopt them. \nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex scientific concepts to non-scientific audiences. \nHighly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. \nAdaptable, resourceful, and comfortable changing course as new evidence emerges. \nWhat will help you stand out \nExpertise in immunology or aging. \nComputational biology and/or biostatistics experience. \nClinical research or clinical trial experience. \nReal-world evidence experience. \nExperience working in a biotech, pharmaceutical, startup, or similarly fast-moving research environment. \nSponsored research experience with academic or commercial organizations. \nDirect drug repurposing experience. \nExperience using AI-enabled technologies in scientific research. \nHow you work \nIntellectually curious and energized by learning across scientific disciplines. \nScientifically skeptical while maintaining rational optimism about what may be possible. \nHumble, collaborative, and comfortable having your assumptions challenged. \nMission-driven and motivated by the potential to improve outcomes for patients. \nLow ego and focused on team success over individual credit. \nAble to work effectively in a small, evolving organization where priorities may shift quickly. \nCompensation & Benefits: \nYour paycheck: Competitive salary based on experience, ranging from $110,000 - $120,000 annually. \n Health and wellness: Comprehensive plans with medical, dental, and vision coverage, plus a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for eligible healthcare expenses. \n Future nest egg: A 403(b)-retirement plan with an employer match of 3.5% helps you save for your future. \nRelax and recharge: Generous time off, including paid time off, paid holidays, and Winter Break. \nWe have you covered: Comprehensive paid leave for family and medical needs, ensuring you have the support you need during important times. \nThis role is based in Cambridge, MA, with an expectation of a minimum of 3 days per week in the office. \nEvery Cure is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We provide equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetics, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.","description_format":"text","description_chars":9789,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"phd","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Retirement plans"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Drug Discovery","Drug Discovery AI"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-12T06:56:52Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":26,"band":"fade","label":"Fading","p_open":1,"p_active":0.587,"p_room":0.45,"age_days":47,"expected_fill_days":27,"reasons":["conf:0","win:tail"],"computed_at":"2026-10-27T05:46:45Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":120000,"is_top_pay":false},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/everycure-research-fellow","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/everycure-research-fellow.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-27T08:06:42Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":8895,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-28T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":677377},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=677377"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Feverycure-research-fellow"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Feverycure-research-fellow"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Feverycure-research-fellow"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/everycure-research-fellow\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Feverycure-research-fellow"}]}
