With a team of over 1400 passionate individuals spread across twelve countries in Europe and Asia, we're all united by our love for innovation and teamwork.\nJoin us on this exciting journey as we continue to redefine the iGaming landscape, one groundbreaking solution at a time.\nWe are looking for a dedicated Database Administrator to join our team in London!\nWhat You'll get to do:\nDatabase Administration & Operations\nInstall, configure, and maintain the company’s database management systems\n\nMonitor database performance and optimize queries, indexing, and resource utilization\n\nManage backup and recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery readiness\n\nImplement and enforce database security policies in collaboration with the DBA Team\n\nTroubleshoot and resolve database issues, ensuring minimal downtime\n\nCollaboration with the DBA Team\nWork closely with the DBA Team to implement the best practices, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process improvements\n\nProvide regular updates and reports on database performance, incidents, and upcoming changes\n\nAssist in evaluating new database technologies and solutions under the guidance of the DBA Team\n\nParticipate in team meetings and proactively contribute to database strategy discussions\n\nOther requirements raised by management\n\nHigh Availability & Scalability\nSupport high-availability and disaster recovery (HA/DR) solutions, including replication and failover strategies\n\nOptimize databases for scalability and efficiency in a growing production environment\n\nCollaborating with the DBA Team on capacity planning and future database needs\n\nAutomation & Performance Tuning\nDevelop and maintain scripts for automation of routine DBA tasks.\n\nIdentify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring smooth database operations.\n\nWork with the DBA Team to enhance database monitoring and alerting systems.\n\nDocumentation & Knowledge Sharing\nMaintain up-to-date database documentation, including configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.\n\nShare knowledge with the other DBA team members\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\nExperience: At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a DBA.\n\nTechnical Skills:\nExpertise in PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server\n\nExperience with replication and performance tuning.\n\nExperience in Linux environment\n\nScripting & Automation: Shell scripting or Ansible for automation.\n\nMonitoring Tools: Experience with monitoring tools like PMM, Grafana, Nagios, or similar.\n\nSecurity & Compliance: Understanding of database security, access controls, and compliance standards.\n\nProblem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution.\n\nCollaboration: Ability to work effectively with the DBA Team and cross-functional teams.\n\nCertifications: nice to have certifications that indicate the candidate is up to date with modern database technologies and best practices.\n\nAbility to work on call rotation and provide 24/7 production support.\n\nHere's what we offer:\nStart with 25 days of annual leave, with 2 additional days added each year, up to 35 days by your fifth year with us.\n\nHybrid work schedule is available after the first three months of employment, with up to 60 days of work from home per year.\n\nPrivate medical insurance, with an ability to add dependants\n\nMonthly meal allowance.\n\nGym allowance.\n\nAccess to online learning platforms like Udemy for Business and LinkedIn Learning, and a budget for external training.\n\nBenefit from two Free Fridays each year, limited to one per quarter.\n\n3 sick leave days per year, no doctor's note required.\n\nSupport for New Parents:\n\n- 52 weeks of paid maternity leave, with 21 weeks being fully paid\n- 4 weeks of paternity leave, plus the flexibility to work from home full-time until your child is 13 weeks old.\nAt EveryMatrix, we're committed to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace where you can thrive both personally and professionally.
