Featured services include turnkey betting software (online, retail and omnichannel), real-time sports data APIs and data feeds.\nWe are looking for a passionate and dedicated Machine Learning Engineer to join our team in Zagreb, Croatia!\nWhat you'll get to do:\nAnalyze business requests and design, develop and optimize data-driven machine learning models.\n\nCollect, clean and prepare data for model training and evaluation.\n\nEvaluate and compare various mathematical and statistical modeling techniques, measuring performance and identifying improvement opportunities.\n\nImplement approved ML models in collaboration with developers and ensure smooth integration into production environments.\n\nSupport product teams with mathematical expertise (e.g., creating formulas for new betting features or optimizing existing algorithms).\n\nProvide guidance to internal stakeholders on model usage, interpretation and potential limitations.\n\nMonitor model performance and continuously improve accuracy, scalability and reliability.\n\nAct as a strong analytical partner within a cross-functional team, contributing to product innovation and decision-making.\n\nWhat you need to shine:\nStrong background in mathematics, statistics or machine learning.\n\nExperience building, evaluating and deploying ML models in production environments, specifically deep learning architectures.\n\nKnowledge of and good awareness on when to use different Neural Network architectures, up to and including the current state of the art.\n\nProficiency in Python (or similar language) and experience with ML libraries/frameworks.\n\nExperience with data preprocessing, feature engineering and model evaluation techniques.\n\nUnderstanding of performance metrics and model validation strategies.\n\nAbility to translate business problems into mathematical and technical solutions.\n\nStrong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.\n\nFluent in English, both written and spoken.\n\nNice to have:\nExperience in betting, gaming, fintech or similar data-intensive industries.\n\nExperience with cloud environments and ML deployment pipelines.\n\nKnowledge of real-time data processing systems.\n\nExperience with generative AI projects - architecture, planning, training, tracking/assessment and iteration.\n\nExperience with working across all steps of a complete data science framework (for ex.
