As Data Analyst, you will sit at the intersection of product and commercial impact. You will define what “good” looks like for player engagement, build the analytical foundations that power our CRM platform’s insight layer, and work directly with operators to translate raw data into strategies that grow retention, lifetime value, and campaign performance. You will not just report on what happened - you will define what should be measured, why it matters, and how to act on it. This role is as much about influence and expertise as it is about analysis.\nWhat You'll get to do:\nDevelop, maintain, and enhance microservice applications using Java 21+ and Spring Boot.\n\nDesign and implement scalable, resilient, and high-performance solutions.\n\nWork with relational and OLAP databases, writing efficient SQL queries in PostgreSQL and ClickHouse.\n\nDevelop code to process complex data structures to / from Kafka.\n\nEnsure best practices in microservice architectures, including API design, scalability and security.\n\nCollaborate closely with other team members, including DevOps, Front End, Product and QA\n\nParticipate in code reviews, technical discussions and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\n3+ years of commercial experience in Java development.\n\nStrong knowledge of Java 21+ and Spring Boot.\n\nGood experience with developing on Linux and a familiarity with bash scripting.\n\nExperience with SQL databases and writing optimised queries.\n\nExperience with ClickHouse is a plus, but not required.\n\nExperience with Kafka (experience with Avro is a plus but not required).\n\nExperience with a wide range of enterprise Java and Spring components, including Spring Data JPA.\n\nExperience with containerisation technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.\n\nExperience with stream processing frameworks such as Apache Flink is a plus but not required.\n\nFamiliarity with SSO mechanisms including OpenID is a plus but not required.\n\nA basic understanding of core microservice components such as service discovery, API gateway and service monitoring.\n\nPrevious exposure to the gaming / sports betting industry is a plus but not required.\n\nSolid understanding of microservice architectures and best practices.\n\nExperience with AI code assistance tools such as Gemini and Claude, and a desire to work with an AI-first mindset.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile environment.\n\nAn ability to pay close attention to detail whilst also seeing the big picture.\n\nMore than anything, we are looking for candidates who are good communicators, curious and inquisitive, and who love solving problems both individually and as part of a team.\n\nHere's what we offer:\nStart with 25 days of annual leave, with 2 additional days added each year, up to 35 days by your fifth year with us.\n\nHybrid work schedule is available after the first three months of employment, with up to 50 days of work from home per year.\n\nPrivate medical insurance with the option to add dependants.\n\nMonthly meal allowance.\n\nGym allowance.\n\nAccess to online learning platforms like Udemy for Business and LinkedIn Learning, and a budget for external training.\n\nBenefit from two Free Fridays each year, limited to one per quarter.\n\n3 sick leave days per year, no doctor's note required.\n\nSupport for New Parents:\n\n- 52 weeks of paid maternity leave, with 21 weeks being fully paid\n- 4 weeks of paternity leave, plus the flexibility to work from home full-time until your child is 13 weeks old.\nAt EveryMatrix, we're committed to creating a supportive and inclusive workplace where you can thrive both personally and professionally.
