Hands-on experience across multiple jurisdictions with a supportive environment focused on learning, development, and career growth. As well as the possibility to progress into a more senior tax role as experience and responsibilities grow.\nWhat You'll get to do:\nAssist with the preparation and coordination of tax compliance obligations for group entities.\n\nSupport the collection, review, and organization of information required for tax filings and reporting.\n\nLiaise with tax authorities and assist with administrative aspects of tax correspondence and inquiries.\n\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders, including Finance, Legal, Treasury, and external advisors.\n\nMaintain tax records, documentation, and compliance trackers.\n\nAssist with tax registrations, compliance monitoring, and other tax-related administrative matters.\n\nProvide general administrative support to the Group Tax team.\n\nSupport senior team members with day-to-day tax projects, research, reconciliations, and compliance activities.\n\nAssist in the improvement and maintenance of tax processes, procedures, and internal controls\n\nWhat we’re looking for:\nBachelor’s / Master’s degree (Accounting, Economics, Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields).\n\nRecent graduate (Internship 3 months) or candidate with up to 1-2 years of work experience (Junior).\n\nPrevious internship, volunteering, or work experience in accounting, taxation or finance is considered an asset.\n\nStrong command of English, both written and spoken.\n\nInterest in taxation, tax compliance, and international business.\n\nGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and internet-based research tools.\n\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\n\nProactive attitude and willingness to learn.\n\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.\n\nHere's what we offer:\nStart with 22 days of annual leave, with 2 additional days added each year, up to 32 days by your fifth year with us.\n\nHybrid work schedule is available after the first three months of employment, with up to 50 days of work from home per year.\n\nBenefit from two Free Fridays each year, limited to one per quarter.\n\n3 sick leave days per year, no doctor's note required.\n\nDaily catered lunch or monthly lunch allowance.\n\nPrivate Medical Subscription.\n\nAccess online learning platforms like Udemy for Business and LinkedIn Learning, and a budget for external training.\n\nAccess to an Employee Assistance Program through TELUS Health.\n\nOur office perks include parking, on-site massages, and frequent team-building activities in various locations.
