The company operates across retail, foodservice, K-12, senior meals, and franchise channels, supported by centralized food manufacturing and distribution.\nEverytable is seeking a hands-on Vice President of Finance & Accounting to lead the finance organization and serve as a strategic partner to the CEO, leadership team, Board, investors, and lenders.\nPosition Overview\nThe Vice President of Finance & Accounting will lead FP&A, accounting, financial reporting, treasury, audit, tax, and finance operations.\nThis role requires a leader who can operate at both the strategic and execution levels. The successful candidate must be comfortable presenting to the Board, advising senior leadership, managing and developing a team, and personally working through financial models, cash forecasts, reporting, accounting issues, and other critical deliverables.\nThe position reports to the CEO and serves as a key member of the executive leadership team.\nKey Responsibilities\nFinancial Leadership and FP&A\nServe as the company’s senior finance and accounting leader and a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team.\n\nLead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, scenario analysis, and management reporting.\n\nOwn the company’s financial model, cash forecast, liquidity plan, and performance reporting.\n\nTranslate financial and operating data into clear insights and recommendations.\n\nPartner with business leaders on pricing, contracts, investments, cost savings, and growth initiatives.\n\nDevelop reporting by channel, customer, location, and program.\n\nAccounting and Reporting\nOversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close and ensure timely, accurate financial statements.\n\nMaintain appropriate accounting policies, controls, reconciliations, and documentation in accordance with U.S. GAAP.\n\nReview significant accounting matters, including debt, equity, leases, revenue recognition, inventory, and fixed assets.\n\nLead the annual audit and oversee tax compliance and external accounting relationships.\n\nTreasury and Capital Management\nMaintain clear visibility into cash, liquidity, working capital, and financial obligations.\n\nManage banking relationships, debt compliance, covenant reporting, and lender communications.\n\nSupport debt and equity financings, including modeling, diligence, investor materials, and transaction execution.\n\nServe as a primary finance contact for investors, lenders, and other capital partners.\n\nOperational Finance\nPartner closely with operations, sales, retail, foodservice, manufacturing, supply chain, and culinary teams.\n\nConnect financial performance to operational drivers such as food cost, labor, yield, waste, production volume, and delivery costs.\n\nEvaluate customer, contract, store, franchise, and program economics.\n\nIdentify opportunities to improve gross margin, labor efficiency, profitability, and cash flow.\n\nTeam and Systems Leadership\nLead, manage, and develop the finance and accounting team.\n\nEstablish clear responsibilities, accountability, and performance expectations.\n\nRemain highly involved in critical deliverables and willing to perform detailed work when needed.\n\nImprove finance processes, reporting tools, ERP usage, data quality, and automation.\n\nBuild scalable processes while maintaining a lean and practical finance function.\n\nCandidate Profile\nThe ideal candidate is a well-rounded finance executive with strong accounting fundamentals, advanced FP&A capabilities, and experience in a complex, fast-moving operating environment.\nThe individual must be equally comfortable leading a team, advising executives, and personally working in the details.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.\n\n10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience.\n\nPrior experience as a VP of Finance, Head of Finance, senior finance director, divisional CFO, or similar role.\n\nStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, accounting operations, and internal controls.\n\nDemonstrated ownership of budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, cash planning, and management reporting.\n\nExperience managing and developing finance and accounting teams.\n\nAdvanced Excel and financial modeling skills.\n\nExperience with ERP and business intelligence systems.\n\nStrong communication skills with executives, Boards, investors, lenders, and operating leaders.\n\nWillingness to be highly hands-on and accountable for execution.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nCPA, MBA, or similar advanced qualification.\n\nExperience in food manufacturing, foodservice, retail, restaurants, consumer products, or distribution.\n\nExperience with multi-location, multi-channel, franchise, or inventory-based businesses.\n\nExperience with cost accounting, manufacturing variances, debt and equity financings, and liquidity management.\n\nExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Power BI.\n\nExperience in a private, venture-backed, or mission-driven company.\n\nLeadership Attributes\nHands-on and execution-oriented\n\nStrong financial judgment\n\nClear and practical communicator\n\nCollaborative business partner\n\nEffective team leader and developer\n\nComfortable operating through ambiguity and change\n\nHigh integrity and attention to detail\n\nStrong alignment with Everytable’s mission\n\nEverytable is an equal opportunity employer.
