You will play a critical role in triaging calls, managing patient intake and discharge, and supporting both the veterinary team and clients with compassion, efficiency, and professionalism.\nKey Responsibilities:\nGreet clients and patients with empathy, urgency, and professionalism.\nTriage incoming calls and determine appropriate response based on emergency protocols.\nGather and verify client and patient information; ensure accurate and timely data entry.\nManage emotionally charged situations with compassion and clarity.\nProcess payments, estimates, invoices, and medical records.\nMaintain cleanliness and order in the reception and lobby areas.\nAct as a liaison between the veterinary team and clients\nRequirements:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nAvailable to work evenings, weekends and some holidays\nAbility to stay calm, focused, and compassionate during emergency situations.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially under pressure.\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, emotionally charged environment with sick or injured animals. \nPreferred Qualifications:\nPrior experience in a veterinary, emergency, or medical reception environment\nFamiliarity with veterinary terminology and emergency triage protocols\nProficiency with veterinary software (Instinct)\nWhy You Should Choose Us\nWork in a diverse and supportive environment: We offer a supportive environment that fosters personal and professional development, along with benefits that prioritize wellness and growth.\nGreat Location: Located in the up-and-coming Southside Neighborhood in Chattanooga at the base of Lookout Mountain.
