We have a passion for community, sports and lifestyle, and a collective hunger when it comes to building a great company together.\nThe Job\nThe Inventory Lead oversees the inventory process in the store, ensuring accurate stock management and an organized flow of merchandise. This role is responsible for tracking, organizing, and maintaining inventory levels to support sales, uphold store standards, and optimize customer experience. The Inventory Lead collaborates closely with store teams and management but does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.\nThe Opportunity\nInventory Management:\nExecute daily, weekly, and monthly inventory counts to maintain accurate stock levels. \nTrack incoming and outgoing merchandise, ensuring proper documentation and accurate recording. \nIdentify and address inventory discrepancies, working to prevent issues before they impact the sales floor. \nMerchandise Organization:\nMaintain organized storage areas and stockrooms, optimizing space and ensuring ease of access for store staff. \nEnsure that merchandise is appropriately labeled, categorized, and rotated based on store standards and sales forecasts. \nSupport Store Operations:\nCollaborate with associates, supervisors, and manager to align inventory levels with sales goals and promotional events. \nAssist with receiving, processing, and stocking new shipments. \nCoordinate with the store team to ensure products are available and easily accessible for a seamless customer experience. \nInventory Audits and Reporting:\nPerform regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and compliance with store policies. \nProvide detailed reports to store management, highlighting key metrics and identifying trends or issues in inventory levels. \nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements\nThe Must Haves\nA high school diploma or equivalent or an equivalent background. \nProven experience in inventory management or retail operations.\nAttention to detail, record keeping, organization, communication. \nEmbodies, honors, and lives our core values: The Great 8 \nTechnology:\nInventory Management Systems: Proficiency in using software to manage inventory and track movements. \nEnterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Systems: Familiarity with ERP systems, which may be used for broader business operations, including inventory management. \nMicrosoft Office: Proficiency in Excel and Outlook for data management, communication, and reporting. \nAt evo, we are working to build and nurture a culture where equity, inclusivity, and compassion are inherent to how we operate and evolve.
