We have a passion for community, sports and lifestyle, and a collective hunger when it comes to building a great company together.\nThe Job\nThe Senior Accountant plays a critical role in overseeing evo’s financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations across multiple entities and countries. The Company reserves the right to alter these benefits and perks in whole or in part at any time.\n*Benefit not eligible for seasonal employees\nThe Opportunity\nFinancial Reporting:\nReview financial reports for accuracy, completeness, and SOX compliance, ensuring adherence to global standards.\nSupport both internal and external audits as needed, providing relevant data across various entities.\nAccounting and Financial Management:\nOversee the monthly and annual closing processes across multiple entities, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of financial data.\nPrepare and review internal financial statements, ensuring they reflect the financial performance and compliance of multiple international entities.\nPerform account reconciliations, financial analysis, and ensure consistency across global financial records.\nAssist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning that takes into account the various accounting practices of each entity.\nMaintain internal controls and financial systems to ensure financial integrity, compliance, and reporting accuracy across global entities.\nMentor junior staff, promote professional development, and drive process improvements across the accounting team.\nTax Records and Returns:\nPrepare and maintain state, and local tax returns and related records across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with the relevant tax laws in each.\nMonitor and track tax filings, payments, and liabilities for multiple entities operating in different countries.\nRequirements\nThe Must Haves\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.\nCPA certification (or working toward) is preferred.\n5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.\nExperience with general ledger management, process improvement and reconciliation.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.\nExperience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite).\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nKnowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.\nProactive and solution-oriented mindset.\nEmbodies, honors, and lives our core values: The Great 8 \nAt evo, we are working to build and nurture a culture where equity, inclusivity, and compassion are inherent to how we operate and evolve.
