As part of the Game Development team, you’ll contribute to the backend data ecosystem, working with data from a wide range of sources while ensuring quality, accuracy, performance, and reliability in production.\nWe’re looking for a QA & Data Quality Engineer to join our Data Technologies Group. In this role, you’ll help ensure our data products meet the highest quality standards.\nWhat you will be doing:\nTest and approve ETL processes and database (DB) scripts to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.\nBuild testing scripts, simulations, and automation based on design and technical documentation.\nDevelop and execute data quality tests to validate data integrity and consistency across the data pipeline.\nApply BDD methodologies, including creating STD documents and feature files.\nTroubleshoot identified development issues and perform root cause analysis to identify and resolve data and application defects.\nRead, analyze, and translate product and development documentation into effective test scenarios and validation processes.\nWork closely with development and data teams to identify issues and continuously improve data quality and testing processes.\nSupport task delivery and maintenance in the production environment.\nRequirements\nWho we are looking for:\nHands-on experience writing SQL queries and scripts.\nExperience working with large-scale Data Warehouse (DWH) environments.\nExperience with ETL testing methodologies.\nExperience with data quality testing, testing scripts, and automation.\nExperience with BDD methodology, STD documents, and feature file creation.\nAbility to read, understand, and analyze product and development documentation.\nGood English communication skills, both written and verbal.\nA highly motivated, independent, and proactive approach to your work.\nIt’s a plus if you have:\nExperience working with Snowflake.\nExperience with SSIS.\nExperience with Python.\nUnderstanding of CI/CD concepts.\nExperience working in an Agile environment.\n*Please provide an English CV with your application.\nWhat we offer:\nOur roles offer more than just a job; you’ll become part of the evoke family!
