We are looking for someone with strong DevOps foundations, a practical understanding of AIconcepts, and a real passion for applying AI to engineering work.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nDesign, build, and improve scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure across AWS and hybrid environments.\nLead and optimize CI/CD pipelines with a strong focus on automation, reliability, speed, and developer experience.\nOwn production-grade Kubernetes environments, including deployment strategies, scaling, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.\nDrive observability and reliability practices using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and New Relic.\nBuild automation to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency across DevOps and SRE processes.\nApply AI-driven approaches to real engineering problems, including internal tools, automation flows, skills, MCPs, plugins, and agents.\nTroubleshoot complex production, infrastructure, networking, and deployment issues across multiple environments.\nLead technical initiatives end-to-end, from design through implementation and measurable impact.\nMentor team members and help promote operational excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement.\nRequirements\nWho we are looking for:\n5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering roles.\nStrong hands-on experience with AWS in production environments.\nDeep practical experience with Kubernetes in production, including operations, scaling, and troubleshooting.\nProven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably with Azure DevOps or similar platforms.\nHands-on experience with Docker, including container image creation, optimisation, and build processes within CI/CD environments.\nStrong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar languages.\nExperience with infrastructure as code and automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.\nPractical understanding of AI concepts and experience working effectively with AI-assisted engineering tools.\nFamiliarity with AI-powered automation patterns such as agents, MCPs, plugins, skills, or similar frameworks.\nPassion for using AI to improve reliability, automation, troubleshooting, incident response, and engineering productivity.\nProven hands-on experience with observability and monitoring platforms such as Grafana, Prometheus, and New Relic.\nSolid background in Linux and Windows administration and troubleshooting.\nStrong understanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, TCP/IP, load balancing, and system-level debugging.\nStrong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to lead technical initiatives independently.\nNice to Have:\nExperience in hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.\nExposure to DevSecOps practices and security automation.\nExperience with high-availability, low-latency, or high-traffic production systems.\nExperience building internal developer platforms or self-service automation.\nFamiliarity with LLM-based workflows, internal knowledge tools, or AI governance practices.\nWhat we offer:\n A senior-level opportunity to shape infrastructure, automation, and reliability strategy.\nA high-impact role in a team that values ownership, hands-on engineering, and continuous improvement.\nThe opportunity to work with modern DevOps technologies across cloud and on-prem environments.\nThe chance to help define how AI is applied in real-world DevOps and SRE work.\nA collaborative environment where you can influence technical direction and mentor others.\nOur roles offer more than just a job, you’ll become part of the evoke family!
