The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, implementing, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise network solutions across on-premises and cloud environments.\nThis role requires a hands-on engineer with excellent troubleshooting skills, a strong understanding of networking fundamentals, and the ability to work collaboratively within a global team.\nWhat you'll be doing:\nDesign, Implement, Troubleshoot & Maintain\nDesign, implement, troubleshoot, and maintain enterprise network and datacenter environments.\nDeliver reliable LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, firewall, load balancing, and cloud networking solutions.\nTroubleshoot complex end-to-end network issues across on-premises and cloud environments.\nParticipate in the design and delivery of new network solutions and infrastructure improvements.\nWork closely with infrastructure, cloud, security, architecture, and application teams to ensure secure and resilient network services.\nProduce and maintain technical documentation, standards, and operational procedures.\nIdentify opportunities to improve network performance, availability, automation, and operational efficiency.\nProjects & Operational Support\nParticipate in both project delivery and Business-as-Usual (BAU) operational activities.\nSupport planned maintenance, upgrades, and technology refresh initiatives.\nParticipate in incident response, root cause analysis, and problem management activities.\nParticipate in an on-call rotation to provide support for critical production environments.\nRequirements\nWho we are looking for:\nNetworking\nStrong understanding of TCP/IP networking and the OSI model.\nProven experience troubleshooting complex network issues across multiple technologies using TCPDUMP/Wireshark.\nSolid knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, BGP, OSPF, NAT, VPNs, DNS, DHCP, SD-WAN and network security.\nExperience with enterprise network design and implementation.\nHands-on experience with AWS networking services, including:\nVPC\nTransit Gateway\nTransit Gateway routing\nDirect Connect\nSite-to-Site VPN\nRoute Tables\nSecurity Groups\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Python or equivalent)\nExperience with VMware NSX-T and or Cisco ACI networking.\nStrong experience with Nexus datacenter switching.\nExposure to network automation and scripting is advantageous\nUnderstanding of AI components - LLM’s, MCP’s etc…\nProduct Knowledge\nExperience with one or more of the following technologies is desirable:\nPalo Alto Networks\nCisco ASA\nCisco Nexus\nLoad balancer such as F5 BIG-IP \nInfoblox\nVMware\nAWS Networking Services\nCisco ACI\nCisco Meraki\nArista switching & routing\nSplunk, New Relic and/or Solarwinds observability tooling\nSoft Skills\nWe're looking for someone who:\nEnjoys working in a collaborative team environment.\nActively shares knowledge and supports colleagues.\nTakes ownership of technical issues and follows them through to resolution.\nDemonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nCommunicates effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nIs eager to learn new technologies and continuously improve.\nTake a leading role on multiple projects\nAbility to prioritize effectively\nQualifications\n5+ years of experience in enterprise networking.\nRelevant certifications such as CCNP Enterprise, AWS Advanced Networking, or equivalent are desirable.\nLanguage Requirements\nExcellent written and spoken English is essential.\nWhat we offer:\n A senior-level opportunity to shape infrastructure, automation, and reliability strategy.\nA high-impact role in a team that values ownership, hands-on engineering, and continuous improvement.\nThe opportunity to work with modern DevOps technologies across cloud and on-prem environments.\nThe chance to help define how AI is applied in real-world DevOps and SRE work.\nA collaborative environment where you can influence technical direction and mentor others.\nOur roles offer more than just a job, you’ll become part of the evoke family!
