Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive test plans and strategies for complex software\napplications.\n2. Lead efforts to create, maintain, and optimize test automation frameworks for improved\nefficiency and test coverage.\n3. Conduct detailed manual and automated testing to validate software functionality, performance,\nand security.\n4. Identify, document, and prioritize defects, and collaborate with developers for timely resolution.\n5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in testing processes, tools, and methodologies.\n6. Mentor junior quality engineers, promoting best practices in testing and quality assurance.\n7. Analyze test data, generate quality metrics, and provide regular reports on software quality to\nstakeholders.\n8. Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and product planning to ensure quality is built\ninto all phases of the software lifecycle.\n9. Stay updated on emerging testing tools, technologies, and best practices, and evaluate their\napplicability.\nRequirements:\n1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\n2. 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on both manual and\nautomated testing.\n3. Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks (Karate and/or Playright preferred).\n4. Strong coding skills in programming languages such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript for test\nautomation.\n5. Experience with with version control systems such as Git.\n6. In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression,\nperformance, and security testing.\n7. Experience working in agile development environments and understanding of agile\nmethodologies.\n8. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution.\n9. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team\nenvironment and mentor junior team members\nTo ensure a secure hiring process we have implemented several identity verification steps, including submission of a government issued photo ID. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees.
