Stay for the culture.\nWhat You’ll Be Doing:\nResponsibilities\nLead the design, development, and deployment of complex software solutions, ensuring scalability and maintainability.\nArchitect and implement high-performance APIs and microservices that support critical business functions.\nCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and other engineers, to translate business needs into technical solutions.\nConduct thorough code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to best coding practices.\nMentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.\nIdentify and implement improvements to the software development lifecycle, including automation, testing, and CI/CD pipelines.\nTroubleshoot and resolve production issues, working to ensure high availability and reliability of services.\nEvaluate and integrate new tools, frameworks, and technologies to improve development processes and team productivity.\nDrive the technical vision for projects, contributing to architectural discussions and long-term planning.\nRequirements\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.\n5+ years of professional software development experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex, scalable applications.\nProficiency in C# or Python and familiarity with their ecosystems.\nDeep understanding of software architecture patterns, such as microservices, event-driven architecture, and RESTful API design.\nStrong knowledge of cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).\nExpertise in database design and optimization for both SQL and NoSQL databases.\nExcellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues quickly.\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to lead technical discussions, present to stakeholders, and write detailed documentation.\nAbility to identify ambiguity and proactively work to reduce and resolve ambiguity.\nPreferred\nExperience related to HL7 FHIR. Understanding resource-first FHIR patterns. Comfortable reading FHIR implementation guides.\nExperience in healthcare data domains such as providers, members, prior authorizations, and claims.\nTo ensure a secure hiring process we have implemented several identity verification steps, including submission of a government issued photo ID. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees.
