This is an exciting opportunity to improve our compensation philosophy and program, lead a focused team, and shape initiatives that align with our business results and culture. If you're energized by fast-moving environments and want real ownership over meaningful work, this role is for you.\nWhat you’ll do\nLead and develop a team (1 Leave Administrator and 1 Total Rewards Analyst) setting direction, building capability, and staying hands-on alongside them.\nOwn the design and evolution of Evolve's compensation philosophy and program architecture, including job architecture, pay grades, and salary ranges that reflect internal equity and market competitiveness.\nPartner with People Business Partners, Talent Acquisition and leaders on real-time compensation decisions - new hires, promotions, transfers, and merit cycles - with autonomy.\nDrive the design and administration of incentive plans (annual bonus and commission), partnering with Finance, Sales Operations, and Payroll on plan documents and payout execution.\nLead benefits strategy and administration - health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401k, and wellness - including vendor relationships, broker negotiations, and annual open enrollment.\nOversee leaves of absence programs, ensuring compliance with state-specific laws while continuously simplifying processes for employees and the business.\nMonitor pay transparency laws, FLSA, ACA, and other compliance requirements, developing policies and conducting regular audits to keep Evolve ahead of regulatory changes.\nUse data and market insights to measure program effectiveness and inform decisions; stay current on where total rewards is heading and bring forward-thinking recommendations to the table.\nWhat makes you a great fit \nMinimum 10 years of relevant job experience, including experience in roles supporting compensation, benefits, HR operations functions\n5+ years of experience leading a Total Rewards team in a highly dynamic, fast-moving organization, preferably with experience in private-equity backed organizations\nSubstantial knowledge and expertise in all facets of benefits and compensation\nHands-on leader who can lead in both a highly strategic, vision forward capacity, but also roll-up their sleeves and execute the work at a tactical level\nContinuously explores how AI and automation can improve total rewards processes and programs. \nExperience creating and managing compensation plans\nStrong proficiency with Microsoft Suite - Excel\nProficiency with Google Suite-Sheets, Slides, Docs\nPreferred ERP or HRIS Implementation Experience\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities:\nComprehensive HR knowledge of Benefit design and administration, compensation practices, HR technology and analytics\nKnowledge of employment legislation and regulations such as FMLA, ADA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, ERISA\nOperational knowledge of federal and state pay transparency laws and regulations\nExcellent analytical skills with the ability to provide HR metrics and data to make decisions, with an eye for detail and accuracy\nAbility to balance both velocity of work and detailed accuracy\nAbility to work well across the organization at various levels and build solid relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization\nDemonstrated ability to create and implement organization-wide People programs and initiatives from the ground up successfully\nDemonstrates resiliency; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail\nAbility to handle ambiguity in a dynamic environment\nDemonstrated success as a senior-level human resources professional with an emphasis on moving human resources to be a strategic, proactive business partner\nConfident, energetic relationship builder who builds rapport and earns respect at every level of the organization.\nCompensation\nFor this role our salary range is 155,000 - 175,000, depending on relevant experience. This role will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on both company and individual performance.\nLocation \nAll Evolve team members must live in one of our approved locations by their first day. We can hire from anywhere in the U.S. except D.C. and Hawaii. Some positions may also have restrictions based on compensation in the following states: California, Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and Washington.
