To transport clients to and from program activities and appointments. To perform daily inspections of the transportation equipment, ensuring the safety of all passengers. To perform other related duties as required.\nJob Responsibilities:\nDrives client transportation equipment safely and efficiently.\nMaintain appropriate client behavior in a transportation vehicle.\nDrives a transportation vehicle over assigned routes in accordance with an established time schedule.\nMaintains the transportation vehicle in a clean and orderly condition, and inspects and reports mechanical defects or malfunctions.\nAdheres to policies and procedures in maintaining appropriate client behavior.\nCompletes the daily transportation activity record, including number of clients transported, mileage, type of trip, and standby time.\nSweeps, cleans and refuels the transportation vehicle.\nPerforms other related duties as required.\nShift Details:\nMonday-Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm. Flexibility with Fridays is required.\nRequirements\nCurrent record (two years) of no felonies or substance abuse convictions.\nOne year of experience in the transportation of clients preferred.\nMust be 25+ years old.\nOne year of experience in the transportation of clients preferred.\nMust have a valid driver’s license\nAdhere to confidentiality requirements as outlined in 42 CFR, Part 2.
