These applications will support a range of business scenarios-from initiating tasks and providing context to reviewing AI-generated results, making decisions, and monitoring progress. You will connect these experiences to backend APIs that expose business logic and AI platform capabilities.\nWorking closely with product leaders, designers, domain experts, and platform engineers, you will translate business needs into intuitive, reliable applications. This role combines team leadership, technical direction, and coaching with substantial hands-on development across the frontend and application backend.\nKey Responsibilities\nOwn the application roadmap and delivery: Translate customer needs, business scenarios, and persona requirements into technical priorities and achievable milestones. Lead delivery from early prototypes through production releases and ongoing improvement.\nBuild intuitive web experiences: Develop responsive, accessible interfaces tailored to different user roles and workflows. Make complex AI interactions understandable, including providing input, tracking progress, reviewing outputs, correcting results, and approving actions.\nConnect applications to business capabilities: Integrate web experiences with backend APIs exposing business logic, enterprise data, and AI services. Collaborate on API contracts and build application services where needed to support complete user journeys.\nEvolver frontend-backend application patterns: Including component boundaries, state management, and integration approaches that support maintainability, reuse, performance, and reliability.\nDeliver production-quality AI experiences: Handle streaming responses, long-running operations, incomplete results, and failures gracefully. Establish testing, observability, and evaluation practices that measure application reliability, AI output quality, and user success.\nLead a small development team: Set technical direction, coordinate delivery, coach developers, and maintain engineering quality while writing and reviewing production code. Partner with product, design, domain, platform, infrastructure, and security teams to deliver enterprise-ready applications.\nQualifications\nExperience\n8+ years of professional software engineering experience, including substantial experience building production web applications.\nExperience owning a technical roadmap and/or leading a development team to deliver applications across frontend and backend integrations.\nHands-on experience building AI-powered applications and integrating LLM or agent capabilities into user-facing workflows.\nTechnical Skills\nStrong proficiency in TypeScript or JavaScript and frontend frameworks like Vue and React.\nExperience designing web application architecture, including reusable components, application state, routing, and data fetching.\nExperience integrating REST APIs and asynchronous services, including streaming updates and long-running tasks.\nPractical understanding of LLM application patterns, including conversational interfaces, structured outputs, retrieval-augmented generation, and human review.\nStrong understanding of web performance, responsive design, and accessibility.\nSoft Skills\nAbility to turn ambiguous business needs into clear user journeys, technical plans, and delivery milestones.\nStrong architectural judgment and clear communication of technical tradeoffs.\nExperience collaborating closely with product managers, designers, domain experts, and platform engineers.\nA practical approach to balancing rapid experimentation with application quality and production reliability.\nComfort taking ownership in
