Apply or send us your CV.\nMain Responsibilities\nBackend Development & Technical Delivery\nLead hands-on backend development for SAP Commerce Cloud.\n\nDefine and implement technical concepts, APIs, and integration logic.\n\nOptimise the recently migrated SAP Commerce Cloud platform to meet evolving market needs.\n\nEvaluate and introduce suitable new features, extensions and integrations.\n\nEnsure the performance, stability and security of the solutions.\n\nSoftware Architecture & Standards\nDefine and maintain software architecture and development standards across the sub-group.\n\nEstablish technical standards covering programming languages, frameworks, naming conventions, coding guidelines and operating models.\n\nDevelop architecture blueprints and governance principles for software solutions.\n\nDrive consistency and compliance with defined software requirements across the organisation.\n\nTechnical Leadership & Collaboration\nAdvise project teams on architecture decisions and technology selection.\n\nProvide technical leadership across projects and coach internal development teams.\n\nManage external development partners and ensure the quality of their work.\n\nCollaborate closely with Enterprise Architecture, IT Operations and Security.\n\nFoster consistent development practices and a strong software engineering culture across the organisation.\n\nProvide technical leadership without direct people-management responsibility.\n\nRequirements\nUniversity degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent professional experience.\n\nStrong hands-on software development experience at senior level, combined with proven software architecture expertise.\n\nHands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud and backend development.\n\nStrong understanding of Java-based enterprise applications and modern software architectures.\n\nSolid knowledge of microservices, API design, cloud-native development, and DevOps.\n\nExperience defining and implementing coding, development, and architecture standards.\n\nExperience working with or managing external development partners.\n\nStrategic and conceptual thinking combined with a strong hands-on mentality.\n\nHigh degree of ownership and confidence in driving technical decisions.\n\nExperience providing technical leadership and coaching development teams.\n\nExcellent communication skills, including the ability to explain architecture and technology decisions clearly across the organisation.\n\nBusiness-proficient English.\n\nNice to
