This role is critical to advancing our small-molecule pipeline from early discovery through clinical development.\nThe Senior Director, DMPK will serve as the senior DMPK program lead and subject matter expert, with accountability for defining and executing ADME, PK, and PK-PD strategies across programs. This individual will provide strategic guidance on candidate selection, IND-enabling activities, translational strategy, and first-in-human dose projections, while influencing key program and portfolio decisions.\nThis role reports to the Vice President, Nonclinical Development and offers the opportunity to play a visible, influential role in shaping Evommune’s growing pipeline.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide strategic and scientific leadership for DMPK, PK, and PK-PD across discovery and development programs, establishing the overall DMPK strategy and priorities for assigned programs\nServe as the senior DMPK program lead, with accountability for study strategy, design, execution, interpretation, and reporting\nDevelop and implement DMPK strategies aligned with project and portfolio objectives, including candidate selection and first-in-human dose predictions\nPartner closely with Medicinal Chemistry, Pharmacology, Toxicology, CMC, Bioanalytical, and Clinical teams to support integrated program advancement\nInfluence program strategy and key development decisions by integrating DMPK data with broader nonclinical and clinical considerations\nOversee the design, analysis, and execution of in vivo and in vitro DMPK studies, ensuring timely communication of results to project teams and senior leadership\nProvide expert interpretation of DMPK data and present findings to internal stakeholders and external partners\nAuthor and/or oversee PK and DMPK sections of regulatory submissions (IND, IB, CTA, IMPD, NDA/BLA) and support regulatory interactions\nProvide DMPK leadership and subject matter expertise in interactions with U.S. and international regulatory agencies, as appropriate\nManage and collaborate with CROs, consultants, and external partners to ensure high-quality execution and efficient use of resources\nEnsure scientific rigor, data integrity, and appropriate documentation across all DMPK activities\nIdentify emerging scientific, technical, and regulatory considerations and translate them into DMPK strategies that support portfolio objectives\nHelp define and evolve Evommune’s DMPK capabilities, operating model, and external partnerships as the pipeline grows\nQualifications\nPhD in pharmacokinetics, drug metabolism, or a related discipline\n12+ years of progressive small-molecule DMPK experience within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, with demonstrated leadership across discovery and development\nProven track record of leading DMPK strategy for discovery and development programs\nDeep expertise in ADME, PK, and PK-PD with experience translating preclinical data to clinical development\nExperience with clinical candidate selection and first-in-human dose projections\nHands-on experience analyzing PK and PK-PD data using relevant modeling and analysis tools\nExperience guiding the development and validation of bioanalytical methods for quantifying drug candidates and metabolites\nStrong understanding of regulatory guidelines supporting small-molecule development, including preparation and review of DMPK sections for regulatory submissions\nExperience supporting or leading interactions with U.S. and international regulatory agencies\nDemonstrated ability to influence program strategy and decision-making through DMPK insight\nDemonstrated ability to operate at a senior level across multidisciplinary teams and influence scientific and development leaders without direct authority\nExperience advancing multiple programs and effectively prioritizing DMPK activities across a portfolio is strongly preferred\nHow You Will Lead\nAct as a trusted, influential partner to senior scientific and development leadership\nSet direction and drive the DMPK agenda with strategic thinking, scientific rigor, sound judgment, and a bias toward action\nAnticipate DMPK-related risks and opportunities and provide clear recommendations to program and senior leadership\nCommunicate complex data clearly and effectively to diverse audiences\nOperate effectively in a fast-paced, resource-constrained, startup environment\nBring a collaborative, hands-on leadership style with strong problem-solving and analytical skills\nBalance strategic leadership with a willingness to remain close to the science and execution\nCompensation\nThe salary range for this position is $230,000-$280,000 and the position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses and/or equity-linked compensation. Salary ranges are determined by role, level and location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
