Provide plant engineering and production with technical expertise by\nContributing working knowledge of the specialized E&I equipment\nProviding working knowledge of plant operations (process know-how)\nProviding diverse knowledge of maintenance methods.\nContributes to maintain and administer facility quality, safety and environmental programs/processes, including non-conformance action items and MOC processes. He/she therefore is in close contact with the relevant departments to be up to date in terms of regulations.\n2. Provide leadership, guidance and expertise for E&I projects by\nstaying abreast of trends and developments in the company and site in general and introduce them to the plants if advantageous\nmaking him/herself familiar with all E&I systems in his/her area\nidentifying suppliers and service providers in the region to meet required standards\n3. Assist Maintenance in troubleshooting in order to maintain continuity of production by\nIdentifying root causes of failures\nDeveloping and implementing sustainable solutions\n4. Plan, manage, estimate, design, construct and startup the plant projects associated with DCS and Safety systems, instrumentation, and electrical systems by\nEvaluate different alternatives in a conceptual engineering\nPerforming detailed engineering works for the E&I discipline\nCoordinating with related engineering disciplines as required\nSupervising execution of works in the field and ensuring the required quality\nControlling of budgets and scheduling\n5. Provide technical expertise on state-of-the-art automation methods and techniques and implement best practices by\nMaintaining knowledge of the latest trends in the areas of field instrumentation, and electrical equipment\nEnsuring know-how exchange with other N&C and Evonik sites\n6. Provide training for Maintenance and Operations related to E&I related process or process equipment changes by\nRegularly making his/herself familiar with latest changes\nTaking the initiative to identify and train the respective teams\n7.
