Bring your fresh perspective, develop your strengths, break out your mold, and find a career that fits your dreams with us.\nClick on the link below to learn what our employees have to say about Evonik:\nhttps://careers.evonik.com/en/about/meet-the-team/\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nAnalysis of samples in order to support the operations staff to run the process by\nSetting up and operating laboratory equipment and instruments as outlined in current instructions\n\nPerforming tests according to the Analysis Plan in order to monitor the production process on samples from the production and record test results\n\nCommunicating results to the relevant Operations personnel\n\nPreparing reagents and standards needed for analysis\n\nEnsuring sufficient laboratory inventories such as Chemicals and Consumables for operation\n\nInvolving in job safety risk activities and adhere to safe practices in the laboratory\n\nPerforming routine/non-routine housekeeping jobs as required to keep the area clean and safe\n\nCovering duties in laboratory stream as assigned\n\nMaintain the lab equipment and quality system\nCalibration, verification, and preventive maintenance of laboratory equipment as outlined in current work instruction\n\nMaintaining laboratory equipment to ensure proper working condition and troubleshoot malfunctions when needed\n\nUpdating existing work instructions, analytical instructions and laboratory records as required\n\nUpkeeping laboratory records and maintaining the Quality file\n\nREQUIREMENTS\nEducation, Certification or relevant experience required:\nITE/ Diploma in Chemistry or equivalent\n\nFresh grad or minimum 1 year experience in an analytical laboratory environment in the chemical industry\n\nWilling to work in Jurong Island and perform 12 hours rotating shift (company Transport Provided)\n\nAdditional skills and abilities required for this position:\nFluent in spoken and written English\n\nTeam player\n\nAttention to details with accurate data recording skills\n\nKnowledge or experience in handling typical laboratory instruments like titrators and chromatographic instruments\n\nExperience in using Lab equipment such as GC, HPLC, Automatic Titrators, AAS, UV Spectrometer, Glass oven, Rotary evaporator, Density meter, X-ray, TOC analyzer, TGA analyzer etc.\n\nYour Application\nTo ensure that your application is proceeded as quickly as possible and to protect the environment, please apply online via our careersportal.
