In this role, you will work closely with the maintenance, reliability, plant engineering, energy management, and operations teams to improve coordination and reduce equipment downtime.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nPerform all work in accordance with company quality, safety, environmental, and cGMP policies and procedures.\nTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment to support safe, reliable operations.\nComplete preventive maintenance and respond to unplanned equipment issues based on business needs.\nReview, update, and maintain accurate electrical drawings and documentation.\nExecute the weekly work schedule and adjust priorities to address urgent maintenance requests.\nSupport engineering and capital projects from initial concept through installation and qualification.\nIdentify and implement continuous improvement opportunities that improve reliability, reduce costs, and strengthen customer service.\nParticipate in safety initiatives, follow site and trade-specific safety procedures, wear required PPE, and report hazards promptly.\nTrain new employees, share technical knowledge with peers, and maintain all required training.\nMaintain accurate, timely records in SAP/PM; follow documentation and deviation-reporting requirements; and keep work areas clean and orderly.\nREQUIREMENTS\nHigh school diploma or equivalent & completed Journeyman Wireman Apprenticeship Program.\nAt least six years of industrial electrical experience.\nStrong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and industrial electrical safety practices.\nProven troubleshooting skills and strong mechanical aptitude.\nAbility to read, interpret, and redline electrical schematics.\nHands-on experience with lighting, heat tracing, production equipment, motors, motor controls, and power distribution systems.\nExperience installing fiber-optic systems.\nStrong computer and written and verbal communication skills, with a commitment to responsive customer service.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-craft industrial environment; previous experience with the department is preferred.\nAbility to complete all required Internal Training Program (ITP).\nThe Evonik Group adopts an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) approach.
