This role partners closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Engineering to execute improvement and capital projects, support process safety initiatives, maintain technical documentation, and identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, plant availability, and overall operational effectiveness.\n$RESPONSIBILITIES\nResponsible for providing plant support related to process troubleshooting, new product introductions, process safety management systems, CAPEX, and OEE.\nActing as project manager or project responsible for plant related projects, both large and small up to $500,000 value.\nPosition has full technical responsibility for the care and condition of plants in cooperation with operations.\nAssures the defined technical availability of the production plants according to the production requirements, and in conformance to changing requirements in respect to economics, safety and care for the environment.\nWorks with other departments such including site engineering, external engineering contractors, and maintenance to plan and secure the resources necessary to execute process trials and projects.\nUses experienced engineering judgment, creativity and foresight to initiate studies, projects and new developments and to anticipate and solve unprecedented problems with a focus on long term technical solutions.\nProvides plant specific technical expertise in the areas of process engineering on equipment innovations and on state-of-the-art process and project techniques.\nSupport and participate in audits and engage in improvement activities such as 5S, KPIs, Root Cause analysis, etc\nEnsures regulatory compliance of technical installations, maintenance practices and the technical documentation.\nREQUIREMENTS\nB.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with 3+ years of engineering experience (preferred in a chemical or oil & gas manufacturing environment)\nExperience with OSHA CFR 1910.119 PSM and EPA RMP regulations and compliance is a plus\nWorking knowledge with SAP, Emerson Delta-V, ASPEN IP21 is a plus Skills & Competencies\nStrong teamwork and interpersonal skills; comfortable working with operations, maintenance, engineering,\nquality, and safety teams in a plant environment.\nAbility to work independently with strong initiative and self-starting skills.\nAbility to manage a heavy workload, establish priorities, and adjust based on site and business needs.\nStrong planning, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.\nStrong computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office 365\nSummary Compensation & Benefits:\nCompensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors.
