bringing the two businesses together as part of the UK's premier parcel delivery company.\nThis opportunity will be joining Evri Premium – a network of DHL, which is being launched during 2026.\nAs we continue our transition to the new Evri Premium brand, you may still see DHL branding at our Runcorn site and work alongside colleagues using DHL systems and email addresses.\nWe are now looking for an experienced and motivated Sort Centre Supervisor to join our team in Runcorn.\nThis is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee the day-to-day operation of the Sort Centre, lead and motivate a large operational team and ensure we consistently deliver against our safety, quality, service and productivity targets.\nWhat You'll Be Doing\nAs Sort Centre Supervisor, you will:\nLead, manage and motivate a large operational team, ensuring performance and productivity targets are achieved.\nOversee daily Sort Centre processes and ensure the operation runs safely and efficiently.\nPlan manpower in line with forecasts, workloads and daily arrivals.\nMonitor performance against agreed KPIs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.\nCommunicate effectively with your team and encourage involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.\nEnsure correct operating methods and working practices are followed at all times.\nMaintain high standards of Health & Safety and ensure operations under your control are carried out safely.\nEnsure all required quality checks are completed in line with company processes and procedures.\nMonitor and maintain Quality of Service for our customers, escalating and reporting issues where required.\nIdentify training and development needs within the team and support employees in developing their skills.\nManage attendance and conduct processes in line with company policy.\nEnsure equipment is maintained appropriately and any faults or issues are reported through the correct channels.\nSupport the Sort Centre Manager across all aspects of mail and parcel production.\nSupport our International operation and provide cover for relevant duties when required.\nEnsure required operational reports and administration are completed accurately and on time.\nMaintain high standards of housekeeping throughout the Sort Centre.\nSupport remedial charge and non-compliance processes, ensuring appropriate evidence and documentation is completed and escalated.\nShare best practice, coach team members and ensure resources are used effectively in line with operational requirements.\nWhat We're Looking For\nWe're looking for someone who is confident leading people within a busy, fast-paced operational environment.\nYou'll be organised, approachable and able to balance the needs of your team with the demands of the operation.\nYou'll ideally have:\nPrevious supervisory or team leadership experience, preferably within logistics, warehousing, distribution or a similar operational environment.\nExperience managing and motivating teams to achieve performance targets.\nA strong understanding of Health & Safety within an operational workplace.\nGood organisational and manpower planning skills.\nConfidence managing performance, attendance and conduct.\nStrong communication and people-management skills.\nThe ability to remain calm and make effective decisions in a fast-moving
