We are seeking intellectually curious and highly motivated team members who are ready to embrace the thrilling challenge of building the first European-owned hyperscale cloud.\nLocation: Stockholm\nJob type: Permanent position\nJoin the Pioneers\nAs a Frontend Engineer on the Think team, you will shape the user experience of roc, enterprise AI you can trust with your data. roc delivers sovereign AI to European organizations that demand the highest levels of security and compliance, running on our own cloud and inference platform.\nYou will help take roc beyond the chat window: building interactive artifacts alongside conversations, an embeddable assistant that organizations can integrate into their own sites, and experiences that bring roc into the tools people already use, from internal systems and knowledge bases to team chat.\nAlong the way, you will influence our application architecture and engineering culture, building AI products where usability, trust, and transparency are part of the design from the start.\nWhat You'll Tackle\nDesign and build responsive, intuitive interfaces for enterprise AI chat, retrieval, and tool use.\n\nBuild user experiences for streaming responses, background tool execution, and real-time state changes.\n\nDevelop new ways for users to interact with roc beyond the traditional chat interface.\n\nWork closely with backend and platform engineers to ensure seamless integration across the product.\n\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to engineering practices that improve quality and maintainability.\n\nBuild reliable frontend systems using testing frameworks such as Playwright and Vitest.\n\nExplore and apply new technologies, frameworks, and tools that improve both development workflows and user experience.\n\nSkills We Value\nTypically 5+ years of professional experience in frontend development.\n\nStrong experience with modern JavaScript frameworks; familiarity with Svelte or SvelteKit is valued but not required.\n\nStrong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend development practices.\n\nExperience building interfaces for LLM-based products, including streaming responses, markdown rendering, and conversational UX, is a plus.\n\nExperience with testing frameworks such as Playwright, Vitest, or similar.\n\nProficiency with Git and modern collaborative development workflows.\n\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to both functionality and user experience.\n\nAbility to work closely with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders in a collaborative environment.\n\nWhy Join evroc?\nWe offer a competitive salary and an equity package to attract the best talent.
