We're looking for a CDP to help bring our vibrant a la carte breakfast menu to life, balancing homely comforts with gourmet creations across everything from fresh fruit and yoghurt to hash browns, bacon, and beyond.\n\nAs Chef de Partie, you'll take ownership of your section, working alongside a passionate kitchen team to deliver consistently high-quality dishes during our busy breakfast service. Your responsibilities will include:\nEnsuring consistently high-quality food production across all hotel kitchens, following standard recipes and portion control\nPreparing and presenting all food items (hot dishes, sauces, pantry items, and special functions) to hotel standards, with strong product knowledge\nMaintaining excellent food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and WH&S compliance across all work areas and storage facilities\nMonitoring, requisitioning, and protecting food products and kitchen equipment in line with hotel policies and procedures\nCompleting duties in a timely manner while maintaining professional grooming and a positive, team-oriented attitude\nAttending scheduled meetings and performing additional duties as directed by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef\n\nWhat You’ll Bring\n1-2 years’ worth of experience as a CDP in hotels, restaurants, or bistros.\nExperience across different sections including pans, grill and larder.\nAbility to train, guide and mentor junior staff.\nAn eye for detail and maintaining product consistency and quality.\nStrong communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude.\nAttention to detail, well-presented and high standards of cleanliness.\nAbility to multitask and perform under pressure, while still delivering a high standard.\n\nHow You Work\nDaymaker ethos — no one’s too big for the small things.\nHands-on and non-hierarchical — leads from the front.\nResilient and solutions-focused — stays calm, moves fast.\n\nPerks from Day One\nAs part of EVT, you unlock Elevate Perks from your first day.
