As a Reservations Agent, you’ll handle bookings by phone, email and online chat, helping guests find the perfect room, rate and package while growing direct bookings and revenue. If you’re a friendly, motivated communicator who loves helping people and thrives in a fast-paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.\n\nKey Accountabilities\nAccurately handle bookings, waitlists, cancellations, and special requirements using PMS (Opera) and related systems.\nAct as a trusted contact for guests, addressing inquiries, preferences, and concerns while ensuring seamless check-in/check-out processes.\nPromote hotel services, offers, and upgrades to enhance guest stays.\nLog guest complaints, update profiles, and escalate issues to management promptly.\nMaintain and merge guest/company profiles for accurate reporting and recognition.\nCollaborate effectively with hotel teams to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.\nAssist colleagues with additional duties as required to support overall team performance.\n\nSkills & Experience\nSimilar experience in a customer service role, ideally within a hotel or resort, with a natural ability to make guests feel welcome and cared for.\nConfident communicator who’s approachable and ready to handle both compliments and concerns with ease.\nFluent in English, with extra language skills a bonus.\nOrganised and able to juggle priorities, meet deadlines, and keep things running smoothly—even when it’s busy.\nTech-savvy, with experience using the Opera system is idea, with a strong understanding of other computer systems.\nCreative problem-solver who turns challenges into opportunities for memorable guest experiences.\nThrives in a fast-paced environment, maintains a polished appearance, and takes pride in personal grooming and uniform standards.\nFlexible and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.\n\nPerks from Day One\nAs part of EVT, you unlock Elevate Perks from your first day.
