The Sales Expert is an essential part of EWEL’s sales team and works with all team members to ensure the success and development of the department.\nThe Inside Sales Expert is customer-focused, friendly, outgoing, and has at least two years' experience in the electrical or electrical sales industry.\nQUALIFICATIONS & IDEAL SKILLS\nThis position demands a friendly, helpful attitude, an outgoing personality, and the capability to work with a team in a fast-paced sales environment. The Inside Sales Expert will have:\nA minimum of 2 years experience in electrical sales or other area of the electrical industry.\nStrong in-person, verbal, and written communication skills in English.\nWorking knowledge of computerized inventory control systems (ERP systems).\nExperience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.\nAbility to read and interpret invoices, manuals, specification sheets, and instructions.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nAbility to lift 40-50 pounds repeatedly.\nAbility to stand, walk, kneel, squat, bend while reaching, and work in hot or cold temperatures.\nRESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES\nAssist EWEL’s customers with sales orders, product information, product research and advice, and quotations in a professional, friendly, and helpful manner.\nAddress customer phone calls and email using a team approach, in a timely and professional manner.\nProcess sales and maintain service and quotation throughput.\nWork closely with colleagues and manager to determine strategic quotation pricing.\nRespect confidential nature of inventory cost information.\nWork cohesively with counter sales staff to ensure highest standard of customer service.\nResolve customer complaints. \nProperly pick and pack materials for customer transportation when applicable.\nManage Eclipse queues (see Solar Eclipse Responsibilities, below).\nAdhere to EWEL’s warehousing standards and procedures when applicable.\nPractice and uphold EWEL & industry-standard safety practices.\nAssist in other departments as needed when time allows.\nEstablish and maintain good working relationships with fellow employees, vendors, and customers.\nCommunicate with internal and external parties in a professional manner in verbal and written forms.\nWhat’s in it for you\nWe are a major player, involved in the energy transformation in Canada.
