The ideal candidate will bring strong experience managing risk programs, establishing governance practices, translating data into executive-level insights, and working with international teams.\nLocation\nFor professionals based in Mexico City or Guadalajara, the position follows a hybrid model with onsite attendance approximately 2-3 days per week.\nCandidates based in other cities in Mexico may be considered for a remote arrangement; however, Mexico City and Guadalajara profiles will receive priority.\nContract Duration\nPermanent, direct employment with the client.\nThis is a 100% payroll position in Mexico.\nWorking Hours\nMonday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.\nLanguage Requirement\nAdvanced English - C1 level.\nThe role requires regular interaction with teams and senior stakeholders in the United States.\nWhat you'll do\nLead and oversee IT and Information Security Risk Management programs, including risk identification, assessment, mitigation, monitoring, and remediation.\nDrive structured risk assessments and define mitigation strategies aligned with business objectives.\nServe as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing clear, risk-based recommendations and executive-level insights.\nDevelop and strengthen risk governance practices aligned with recognized frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NIST.\nDefine and align risk strategy, appetite, tolerance, KPIs, and KRIs.\nSupport audit, compliance, and internal control activities.\nOversee risk data management, ensuring appropriate data quality, governance, integrity, and lifecycle management.\nLead the development and improvement of enterprise risk reporting and analytics capabilities.\nLeverage technologies such as Databricks and enterprise reporting platformsto support large-scale data processing, analytics, and risk reporting.\nPromote automated data pipelines, reporting processes, predictive analytics, and proactive risk management.\nLead cross-functional transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.\nBuild strong relationships with technical, business, and leadership stakeholders.\nGuide, mentor, and collaborate with team members across different functions and geographies.\nWhat you'll bring\nStrong professional experience in Information Security, IT Risk Management, GRC, or related leadership roles.\nSolid understanding of risk management, compliance frameworks, internal controls, and information security governance.\nExperience working with frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, and/or COBIT.\nExperience defining, managing, and improving enterprise-level risk management processes.\nStrong understanding of data governance and data lifecycle management.\nExperience working with Big Data, data science, data engineering, analytics, or enterprise reporting environments.\nExposure to technologies such as Databricks, Qlik, Teradata, Power BI, or similar platforms.\nStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills, including interaction with senior leadership.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities, initiatives, and stakeholders in a dynamic environment.\nBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.\nWhat will make you stand out\nCertifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or ISO 27001.\nCertifications or formal training related to Databricks, Power BI, Qlik, Teradata, or Data Analytics.\nExperience combining traditional GRC and cybersecurity risk management with data-driven or predictive analytics.\nExperience leading transformation, automation, or continuous improvement initiatives.\nStrong executive communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical and risk information into clear business recommendations.\nA proactive, self-driven, and value-oriented leadership approach.\nWhy this opportunity?\nThis is an opportunity to join a large, globally recognized organization in the professional services and consulting industry, working with multidisciplinary and international teams on complex Information Security and IT Risk initiatives.\nThe role offers significant exposure to global stakeholders, sophisticated risk and analytics environments, and opportunities for continued professional development and internal career growth.\nWhat the Client Offers\nCareer growth opportunities.\nMeal/grocery vouchers.\nSavings fund.\nRemote-work allowance, when applicable.\nSelection Process\nThe selection process is expected to include:\nInitial interview with the local/direct leader.\nTechnical interviews with the U.S.-based team, typically involving two interviewers per session.\nFinal interview with the U.S. Area Director.\nBackground check.\nEligibility Note\nThis opportunity is available to candidates currently residing in Mexico.\nCandidates located in Mexico City and Guadalajara are strongly preferreddue to the hybrid working model.
