Python Developer / Customer Success Engineerto join a remote team supporting customer data migrations, technical troubleshooting, integrations, and ongoing customer-facing engineering needs.\nRole Overview\nThis is a hands-on engineering role focused on customer data migrations, backend development, technical problem-solving, and customer support.\nYou will work closely with backend engineers and directly with customers to migrate and validate data, investigate technical issues, implement reliable solutions, and improve recurring migration and onboarding processes.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong Python/Django and data engineering skillswith curiosity, ownership, attention to detail, and confident customer communication.\nLocation\nRemote - Latin America\nWorking Hours\nMust be aligned with U.S. EST business hours.\nOccasional availability outside of standard working hours may be required.\nLanguage Requirement\nUpper-Intermediate English (B2+) or higher, including confident spoken communication.\nWhat You’ll Do\nOwn customer data migrations from initial investigation through successful completion.\nAnalyze, transform, validate, and migrate data from different customer systems and data sources.\nBuild and maintain Python/Django scripts and tools supporting migration workflows.\nWork with relational and NoSQL databases, different data structures, and file formats.\nInvestigate customer-reported technical issues and identify root causes.\nDrive technical issues through to resolution.\nHandle customer-specific backend changes, integrations, and bug fixes.\nWork with REST APIs and third-party systems during migrations and troubleshooting.\nCommunicate directly with customers to clarify technical requirements and coordinate solutions.\nCollaborate closely with backend engineers and other cross-functional team members.\nImprove migration processes and tooling to make recurring customer onboarding more reliable and scalable.\nWhat You’ll Bring\n4+ years of professional backend development experience with Python and Django.\nStrong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including complex queries, data structures, and database migrations.\nPractical experience with data migrations, data transformation, and migration scripts.\nExperience working with different data sources, data formats, and database models, including relational and NoSQL databases.\nStrong understanding of REST APIsand experience with third-party integrations.\nStrong debugging and troubleshooting skills, including the ability to investigate unfamiliar code, data, and system behavior.\nHands-on experience with Git, Docker, and Bashin day-to-day development.\nExperience using AI-powered development tools, particularly Claude Code or similar coding agents.\nAbility to communicate directly with customers, clarify technical problems, and explain solutions clearly.\nStrong ownership, attention to detail, and persistence in bringing
