We’re high agency, low-ego, and united by the feeling that this is one of the last problems worth getting right.\nWe are hiring a Sales Development Representative to help bring Exa to the world.\nAbout the Role\nAs a Sales Development Representative at Exa, you will build high quality pipeline across enterprise and developer segments. You will own outbound prospecting, qualify inbound interest, and partner closely with Account Executives to turn product interest into revenue.\nThis role is fully in office in San Francisco. We believe working together in person drives speed, accountability, and learning.\nWe are looking for competitive, curious, high ownership individuals who want to help build a category defining AI company.\nWhat You Will Do\nGenerate pipeline through personalized outbound across email, phone, and social\n\nEngage developers, founders, and enterprise leaders in thoughtful conversations\n\nWrite clear, compelling messaging tailored to AI, search, and infrastructure use cases\n\nPartner with AEs, Marketing, and founders on targeted outbound campaigns\n\nBuild and prioritize account lists within high value segments\n\nQualify inbound leads and convert product interest into meetings\n\nConduct high level conversations with technical and executive stakeholders\n\nHit and exceed monthly quotas for meetings, opportunities, and pipeline generated\n\nTrack performance metrics and continuously improve outreach strategy\n\nContribute to outbound playbooks and messaging frameworks\n\nWhat We Are Looking For\n1+ years of sales experience, ideally in SaaS, AI, infrastructure, or high growth tech\n\nStrong interest in AI, developer tools, or technical products\n\nCompetitive mindset with a strong internal drive to win\n\nComfortable in a fast moving, high performance environment\n\nResilient and coachable\n\nClear and concise communicator\n\nStrong organizational skills and ability to prioritize\n\nSelf starter mentality.
