With over 1,400 team members, we care for more than 100,000 people across all 50 states.\nJob Details\nThe Director, Learning & Development sets the vision and strategy for enterprise learning at AnewHealth and leads the team and programs that bring it to life. This role owns the organization's enterprise learning brand and front door for leadership, manager, professional and operational development.\nThis leader partners with the CHRO, executive team, VP, Talent & Learning, HR Business Partners and operational leaders to build talent capability that supports the company's growth, efficiency and expansion goals. By leveraging AI and modern learning technology to scale, personalize and measure development, they are focused on translating business strategy into a clear learning roadmap, drive adoption of programs across corporate and frontline teams, and measure impact on performance, engagement and retention.\nThe ideal candidate is a strategic builder and a hands-on operator. They are data-driven, an early adopter who puts AI to work in everyday learning and talent practices, and skilled at leading teams, vendors and executive stakeholders in a complex, multi-site environment.\nResponsibilities\nLearning Strategy\nDevelop and own a multi-year enterprise learning strategy and annual roadmap aligned to business priorities and talent needs.\nLead the unified brand and front door for all learning, organizing existing and new programs into clear, role-based learning paths.\nDefine the curriculum architecture across leadership, manager, professional and operational learning, ensuring programs are relevant, modern and connected to defined capabilities.\nDrive awareness, enrollment and adoption of learning programs, partnering with internal communications to reach corporate, on-site and frontline employees.\nSet the governance model for learning priorities, intake and investment decisions.\nLeadership & Manager Development\nSupport development of executive leadership development program, including cohort design, executive faculty, participant selection, coaching integration and graduation outcomes.\nBuild and scale a manager enablement program that equips people leaders with the skills to coach, develop, and retain their teams.\nOversee high-potential development, mentorship and coaching programs that strengthen the leadership pipeline.\nEmbed AnewHealth's leadership principles into programs, tools and leader expectations.\nTalent Management & Career Growth\nEvaluate, implement and drive adoption of leading-edge talent tools, such as AI-powered talent marketplaces, skills intelligence, digital assessments and Workday talent features, to modernize talent reviews, succession, internal mobility and career pathing.\nSupport job architecture and career pathing efforts by connecting learning paths to roles, levels and career moves.\nGuide the annual performance management cycle, including manager and employee training on goal-setting and year-end conversations.\nAnalyze talent and performance data, using AI-enabled analytics where possible, to identify skill gaps, risks and capability-building priorities.\nAI, Learning Technology & Measurement\nSet and lead the AI strategy for L&D, defining where and how AI is used across content creation, personalization, coaching, learner support and reporting.\nUse AI to accelerate content development, such as generating drafts, scenarios, assessments and microlearning, while maintaining quality and accuracy.\nDeploy AI-enabled experiences such as personalized learning recommendations, AI coaching and practice tools, and on-demand performance support.\nOwn the learning technology ecosystem, including Workday Learning, authoring tools and AI-enabled platforms, and lead decisions on future investments.\nDefine and report learning KPIs, such as adoption, completion, behavior change, and links to engagement, retention and performance.\nUse survey, focus group and business data to continuously improve programs and present results to senior leadership.\nStrategic Partnering & Culture\nBuild cross-functional partnerships across HR, operations and internal communications to align learning with business objectives.\nChampion a culture of growth, performance and engagement across the organization.\nThe above essential functions are representative of major duties of positions in this job classification. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Education, Business or related field required (or equivalent work experience).\nMaster's degree in a related field preferred.\nExperience\n10+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, Organizational Development or related fields.\n4+ years of people leadership experience, including managing L&D or talent professionals.\nDemonstrated experience building an enterprise learning strategy or corporate university from the ground up.\nRequired\nProven track record designing and leading executive and manager development programs at scale.\nExperience leading talent processes such as talent reviews, succession planning and career pathing, including implementing modern talent technology.\nStrong instructional design expertise, with working knowledge of authoring tools such as Articulate Rise and Storyline.\nExperience owning or overseeing a Learning Management System, ideally Workday Learning.\nDemonstrated, hands-on experience applying AI tools to learning design, delivery and talent workflows, with examples of measurable results.\nAbility to define learning metrics and tell a clear story about business impact to executives.\nExperience managing budgets and vendor partnerships.\nExcellent executive presence, communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.\nPreferred\nExperience in healthcare or another complex, matrixed, multi-site environment.\nExperience driving learning adoption among frontline and on-site workforces.\nCertification in instructional design, coaching, leadership development, talent management or assessment tools.\nA builder mindset and team-first ethos: comfortable setting strategy and rolling up sleeves to deliver.\nThis is a remote position.\nAnewHealth offers a comprehensive benefit package for full-time employees that includes medical/dental/vision, flexible spending, company-paid life insurance and short-term disability as well as voluntary benefits, 401(k), Paid Time Off and paid holidays.
