Today, it focuses on climate change, innovation, and digital transformation to improve lives across global markets.\nWhat You’ll Do\nReview business and functional requirements and translate them into detailed test scenarios, test cases, and expected results\nDevelop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using the Calypso Automated Testing Tool\nCreate reusable CATT components to improve automation coverage and regression-testing efficiency\nExecute manual and automated tests across front-to-back Calypso workflows\nSupport System Integration Testing, regression testing, position-conversion testing, and User Acceptance Testing\nValidate workflows covering trade capture, pricing, risk, settlements, collateral, SWIFT messaging, and accounting postings\nPrepare, validate, and maintain test data required for functional and integration testing\nCoordinate with technical teams to support test-environment setup, configuration, and readiness\nPerform data validation and reconciliation across source systems, Calypso, and downstream platforms\nValidate interfaces, scheduled tasks, batch processes, reports, messages, and accounting outputs\nRecord test results and maintain requirements-to-test traceability\nIdentify, document, and track defects using Jira and Xray\nParticipate in defect-triage sessions and provide clear reproduction steps, supporting evidence, and impact analysis\nRetest resolved defects and perform regression testing to confirm system stability\nAssist with test automation execution through CI/CD pipelines\nSupport performance and security-testing activities as required\nPrepare test-execution reports, evidence packages, and readiness documentation\nCommunicate test progress, blockers, defects, and risks to the QA Lead and project stakeholders\nFollow established testing standards, quality controls, and project governance processes\nWhat You Bring\nHands-on experience testing Calypso implementations within capital markets or financial services\nPractical experience developing and executing automated tests using CATT\nStrong knowledge of software-testing principles, methodologies, and lifecycle processes\nExperience creating test scenarios, test cases, test scripts, and test evidence\nExperience supporting System Integration Testing, regression testing, and User Acceptance Testing\nUnderstanding of front-to-back Calypso workflows, including: Trade capture, Pricing, Risk, Settlements, Collateral, SWIFT messaging, Accounting postings\nExperience validating Calypso interfaces, batch processes, scheduled tasks, and downstream outputs\nStrong data-validation and reconciliation skills\nWorking knowledge of SQL for test-data analysis and backend validation\nExperience using Jira and Xray or comparable test- and defect-management tools\nUnderstanding of defect lifecycles, severity classifications, triage, and resolution tracking\nFamiliarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or Cucumber is considered an asset\nExposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated test execution is considered an asset\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills\nClear written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to work effectively with QA, development, functional, and business teams\nEnglish level\nUpper-Intermediate\nWork Type: Remote\nLegal & Hiring Information\nExadel is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to inclusion across minority, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, and more\nReasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions\nPlease note: this job description is not exhaustive.
