The Research Associate will work on multiple projects and provide essential support to scientists and researchers in conducting experiments, maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring the smooth operation of the laboratory. They will be responsible for writing protocols, keeping detailed lab notebook records, checking literature, and participating and presenting at lab group meetings.\nLocation note: This is an on-site position working from our lab in Vista, CA, Monday through Friday.\nResponsibilities\nResponsibilities:\nExecute experiments following established protocols.\nAssist team in setting up experiments, including preparing materials, labeling samples, and organizing equipment.\nPerform routine laboratory tasks, such as daily instrument start-up, fridge and freezer maintenance, and laboratory maintaining laboratory cleanliness.\nMonitor and replenish laboratory supplies and consumables, ensuring adequate inventory levels.\nAssist in the operation and maintenance of laboratory equipment, troubleshooting issues as needed.\nDocument experimental procedures, observations, and results accurately and in compliance with company policies.\nAdhere to safety protocols and regulations, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.\nCollaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.\nSupport other administrative duties related to laboratory operations, as assigned by supervisory staff.\nQualifications\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field, or equivalent wet laboratory experience.\n1-2 years wet-lab experience in Diagnostics, Biopharma or academic lab.\nExperience performing ELISA and or Flow Cytometry assays.\nFamiliarity with basic laboratory techniques and procedures, including pipetting, centrifugation, and solution preparation.\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.\nCommitment to maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and professionalism in the laboratory.\nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications\nPreferred qualifications\nProficiency in MS Excel data processing and Laboratory Information systems.\nProficiency in the use of BD FACSLyric flow cytometer and FCS express analysis software.\nProficiency in use of ELISA software.\nProficiency in use of laboratory automation equipment.\nPay range: $33.00 - $43.00 per hour\nBenefits: We offer a competitive benefits package designed to support the health, financial well-being, and work-life balance of our employees, including medical, dental, and vision insurance;
