The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Guidewire configuration, integration, and development, along with a solid understanding of insurance domain processes.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign & Development\nConfigure and customize Guidewire ClaimCenter applications\nDevelop business rules, workflows, and user interfaces\nImplement integrations with external systems using Guidewire APIs, web services, and messaging frameworks\nTechnical Leadership\nProvide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers\nParticipate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices\nCollaboration\nWork closely with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions\nSupport production deployments and troubleshoot issues as needed\nMaintenance & Optimization\nEnhance existing ClaimCenter implementations for performance, scalability, and reliability\nEnsure compliance with security standards and regulatory requirements\nRequirements\nRequired Skills & Experience\nCore Expertise\n6-12 years of overall IT experience, with at least 5+ years in Guidewire ClaimCenter development\nStrong proficiency in Guidewire Studio, Gosu programming language, XML, and Java\nHands-on experience with ClaimCenter configuration, rules engine, and data model\nIntegration Skills\nExperience with SOAP and REST web services\nStrong knowledge of messaging, batch processes, and system integrations\nDomain Knowledge\nSolid understanding of insurance domain processes, especially Claims management\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with middleware tools such as MuleSoft, Kafka, or similar integration platforms\nExposure to Guidewire Cloud implementations\nFamiliarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies\nExperience with performance tuning and optimization of ClaimCenter applications\nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment\nBenefits\nExavalu also promotes flexibility, adapting to the needs of employees, customers, and the business.
