The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, project managers, and development teams to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient Guidewire-based systems, with a strong focus on ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, or BillingCenter.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLed end-to-end architecture, design, and technical implementation of Guidewire InsuranceSuite products (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).\n\nProvide technical leadership and strategic direction across multiple projects.\n\nAnalyse business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.\n\nDesign and document integration strategies using Guidewire APIs, plugins, messaging, and third-party systems.\n\nDefine architecture standards, best practices, and development guidelines.\n\nConduct architecture reviews and ensure code quality, performance, and compliance with security standards.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, QA, DevOps, and infrastructure teams.\n\nMentor and guide developers and junior architects in Guidewire development best practices.\n\nSupport pre-sales activities, including technical proposals and effort estimation.\n\nEnsure delivery alignment with enterprise architecture and client expectations.\n\nRequirements\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.\n\nMinimum 8 years of IT experience, including 3+ years as a Guidewire architect.\n\nStrong expertise in at least one of the Guidewire core systems (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).\n\nDeep understanding of Guidewire Configuration and Integration, including Gosu language.\n\nExperience with Guidewire Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.\n\nProven experience in designing REST/SOAP APIs and integration with external systems.\n\nStrong understanding of database design, web services, message queues, and DevOps practices.\n\nFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, Git, Jenkins.\n\nExcellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nPreferred Certifications (Optional):\nGuidewire Certified Specialist (in ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, or BillingCenter)\n\nAWS or Azure Cloud Certifications\n\nTOGAF or other architecture frameworks (desirable)\n\nBenefits\nDiversity Inclusion:\nAt Exavalu, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
