Foundational knowledge of LLMs and AI-enabled integrations is expected as a value-add skill to support emerging enterprise AI use cases.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and deploy scalable backend services and microservices using C# and .NET Core / .NET.\nBuild and maintain secure, well-documented RESTful APIs for internal and external enterprise applications.\nDevelop backend components that integrate with SQL databases, enterprise systems, third-party services, and cloud-native platforms.\nDesign and optimize database schemas, stored procedures, queries, and data access layers to ensure performance, reliability, and data integrity.\nImplement microservices-based architecture patterns, including service-to-service communication, API gateways, resiliency, logging, and monitoring.\nDeploy and support backend applications on AWS using cloud-native services, containerized workloads, serverless components, or managed infrastructure.\nCollaborate with architects, product owners, data engineers, and application teams to understand requirements and deliver reliable backend solutions.\nImplement secure coding practices, authentication, authorization, secrets management, audit logging, and role-based access controls.\nParticipate in code reviews, technical design discussions, troubleshooting, production support, and performance tuning activities.\nBuild reusable backend components, API libraries, integration services, and common utilities to improve development efficiency.\nSupport CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment automation, and environment configuration.\nIntegrate backend services with LLM-enabled capabilities where required, such as connecting APIs to AI services, RAG pipelines, vector databases, or LLM endpoints.\nCreate and maintain technical documentation covering architecture, APIs, data flows, deployment steps, dependencies, and operational procedures.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field.\nStrong hands-on experience developing production-grade backend applications using C# and .NET Core / .NET.\nProven experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs and enterprise backend services.\nStrong understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, API design, and backend integration patterns.\nStrong SQL skills, including database design, query development, optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.\nExperience working with AWS cloud services and deploying applications in cloud-based environments.\nExperience with API security, authentication, authorization, logging, exception handling, and secure coding practices.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, automated builds, testing, and deployment processes.\nGood understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, data structures, asynchronous programming, and clean code principles.\nExperience troubleshooting production issues, analyzing logs, identifying performance bottlenecks, and supporting application reliability.\nAbility to work independently, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and deliver high-quality technical solutions in an enterprise environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBasic knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering, AI service integration, or LLM-powered application workflows.\nExperience in integrating backend APIs with AI/LLM platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or similar services.\nFamiliarity with Retrieval Augmented Generation concepts, embeddings, semantic search, or vector databases such as OpenSearch, Pinecone, or pgvector.\nExperience with messaging systems and event-driven architecture using Kafka, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS/SNS, or similar technologies.\nExperience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.\nExperience with AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, ECS, EKS, RDS, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch, IAM, and Secrets Manager.\nFamiliarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.\nExperience in financial services, market intelligence, ratings, or other regulated enterprise environments.\nUnderstanding of observability tools and practices, including distributed tracing, metrics, centralized logging, and application monitoring.\nRequirements\nKey Skills\nC#, .NET Core, .NET, REST APIs, Microservices, SQL, AWS, API Design, Backend Development, Distributed Systems, CI/CD, Git, Secure Coding, Cloud Deployment, Enterprise Integration, Logging, Monitoring, Basic LLM Knowledge, AI Service Integration.\nBenefits\nDiversity Inclusion:\nAt Exavalu, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
