community activities and assisting with documentation, supervision and instruction of clients on site an in the community.\nRequirements\nSPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nProviding safe transport to and from community outings\nFollowing transportation procedures including pre and post trip inspections, travel logs, maintenance requests , sanitizing the vehicle and other required duties/paperwork\nAssists with client instruction, as assigned\nAssists with implementation of training programs\nReports unusual incidents to Service Team Coordinator (STC)\nGives input on program improvements to the Program Assistant or Program Manager\nAssists with the arrival and departure of clients (attendance and health check)\nObservation and documentation as assigned\nGives input on scheduling\nEnsures a safe and orderly teaching environment\nOther related duties as assigned\nQUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE\n21 years of age\nDepartment of Justice fingerprint clearance\nHealth screening and TB Test clearance within 7 days of employment\nValid California Driver's License \nQualify for coverage under EXCEED insurance\nCPR Certification within 45 days of employment\nAbility to role model for clients in socially appropriate behavior and attitudes\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nExperience in related discipline or experience with persons with disabilities\nPHYSICAL ABILITIES\nAbility to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time as there is little sitting in the course of the day\nClimbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling to provide training or retrieve stored materials\nGood hearing and vision to monitor client activities, provide non-work training and perform other duties\nGood general health and mobility\nAbility to lift at least 10lbs.\nAbility to speak clearly and be easily understood by others\nPhysical stamina to work up to 5 hours a day Monday-Friday\nMENTAL ABILITIES\nAbility to understand and translate training activities\nAbility to communicate effectively\nBasic math skills to complete client records and reports\nWriting skills to complete reports and client ID Notes\nAbility to be observant\nFlexibility to handle multiple tasks\nJudgment necessary to make decisions relative to training, service quality and safety\nREPORTING RELATIONSHIP\nReports to the Program Assistant or Program Manager\nPOSITION CLASSIFICATION\nNon-Exempt\nNORMAL WORK SCHEDULE\nMonday through Friday, 9a.m. to 1:30 p.m. or based on client’s schedule / needs\nPAY: $17.64-$18.74 per hour, depending on
