oversee releases from initial testing to public launch.\n\n Define product pricing, subscription plans, usage limits and trial offerings.\n\n Engage with developers to understand their needs and incorporate feedback into product development.\n\n Monitor product performance, including user activation, conversion, retention, revenue and reliability.\n\n Manage the developer experience, including documentation, SDKs, code samples and signup processes.\n\n Lead product marketing, launch campaigns, developer outreach and website optimisation.\n\n Create technical content such as tutorials, sample applications, migration guides and product benchmarks.\n\n Support sales activities through product demonstrations, proposals, pricing discussions and enterprise customer engagement.\n\n Manage the sales pipeline, revenue forecasts and opportunities for account growth.\n\n Provide first-line developer support, troubleshoot issues and improve support processes and documentation.\n\n Collaborate closely with the CEO and engineering teams to guide product strategy and business growth.\n\nDesired Experience & Qualification\n\n Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration or an MBA.\n\n At least 8 years of professional work experience, including a minimum of 3 years as a software developer.\n\n Experience building or integrating REST or WebSocket APIs.\n\n Evidence of taking a product, project, open-source library or internal tool from concept to users.\n\n Strong written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both developers and executives.\n\n Commercial and numerical proficiency, including pricing models, conversion metrics and revenue forecasting.\n\n Willingness to take a hands-on approach across product management, marketing, sales and customer support.\n\n Experience in product management, developer relations, technical marketing, sales or customer support is advantageous.\n\n Exposure to developer-focused or usage-based products is beneficial.\n\n Familiarity with speech recognition, machine learning or audio technology is advantageous.\n\n Experience with APIs such as Deepgram is beneficial.\n\n Knowledge of additional South African or African languages is advantageous.\n\n Connections within the African developer or startup community are beneficial.\n\n Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management
