In this role, you will support individuals with special needs in developing job skills and succeeding in workplace settings. Responsibilities include providing hands-on training in job tasks, equipment use, and safety, coordinating employment supports such as transportation, and assisting with job development.\nYou will help develop client goals and assessments, document progress, implement behavior support strategies, and advocate for clients in the workplace. This role plays a key part in promoting independence, building confidence, and supporting individuals in achieving their employment goals through a person-centered approach.\nRequirements\nSpecific Duties & Responsibilities\nAssists in job development \nCoordinates transportation and other support for client employment as necessary \nProvides instruction on equipment, job duties and safety at job site \nAssists in developing client objectives and client assessments \nMaintains documentation on services provided and client progress \nApplies behavior modification programs \nAdvocates for the client at the work place\nAttends and participates in assigned meetings\nOther related duties as assigned \nQualifications, Education, and Experience\nMust be 21 years of age or older.\nPossess a high school diploma or equivalent (GED).\nHold a valid Driver’s License with a satisfactory driving record.\nMaintain state minimum auto insurance coverage.\nCPR and First Aid Certification required within 30 days of employment.\nMust pass Criminal Background Clearance.\nEffective communication skills.\nAbility to role model appropriate behavior and attitudes in professional settings.\nAvailability and flexibility to work varying schedules.\nHigh school diploma/GED Preferred\nAbility to understand and implement program objectives \nFive (5) years work experience \nPhysical Abilities\nAbility to actively demonstrate and work alongside individuals in various entry-level positions.\nRoutine activities include sitting, walking, and standing while instructing or observing individuals.\nAbility to endure extreme temperatures.\nCapacity to lift objects weighing up to 25 pounds.\nManual dexterity required to handle materials for diverse tasks.\nProficiency in fine motor skills for completing paperwork.\nAwareness of occupational safety and temperature conditions.\nCoordination skills for lifting, carrying, climbing, and balancing.\nAgility for stooping, reaching, crouching, and crawling as needed.\nClear vision and hearing to effectively engage with individuals and employers.\nMental Abilities\nAbility to interpret instructions and effectively communicate with individuals.\nProficiency in mathematics to accurately complete necessary paperwork.\nSkill in meeting deadlines and ensuring timely submission of requested information.\nSound judgment to advocate for individuals, identify safety hazards, and apply appropriate behavior modification techniques.\nReports to: Program Manager\nSchedule: Variable Hours\nEmployment Status: Part-time, Non-exempt\nSalary Description\n$19.85 -
