The Warehouse Supervisor maintains a clean and orderly work environment, safely operates warehouse equipment and tools, provides customer service to clients and vendors, and provides reports to management.\nReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.\nEssential Functions(Duties and Responsibilities)\nPersonnel and Team Leadership\nPlan, assign, and direct the daily work of warehouse staff; adjust staffing and task assignments to meet operational needs.\nTrain new employees and provide ongoing coaching and cross-training for existing staff.\nParticipate in interviewing and hiring recommendations for warehouse positions.\nCommunicate company policies, safety standards, and operational updates to the team.\nFoster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and safety.\nMonitor attendance, punctuality, and productivity; address performance concerns and provide input to performance evaluations, corrective action, and disciplinary decisions.\nResolve first-level employee questions, conflicts, and grievances; escalate issues as appropriate.\nMaintain accurate and timely documentation of personnel and operational matters, including corrective action records, incident and accident reports, attendance documentation, and audit findings.\nOwn team performance against established KPIs and take corrective action when standards are not met.\nWarehouse Operations\nReceive, inspect, inbound, and store inventory parts.\nPerform cycle counts and physical inventories; research and resolve inventory discrepancies.\nPull, process, and outbound orders; prepare orders for shipping.\nAnswer inventory management requests via phone, email, and online.\nPerform data entry and maintain accurate inventory records.\nMaintain a high level of warehouse cleanliness and organization.\nProvide excellent customer service to clients and vendors.\nOperate warehouse equipment and tools as required, including forklifts and pallet jacks.\nMonitor quality control and perform process and facility audits.\nAssist with reporting, billing, and scheduling.\nEnsure staff compliance with safety procedures, PPE requirements, and equipment certifications.\nWork Environment\nThis position operates in an indoor warehouse setting in high and low temperature conditions with occasional outdoor work. The role frequently requires the use of standard office equipment such as computers, copiers, scanners, telephone, and fax, plus the use of warehouse equipment such as rolling ladders, hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.\nPhysical Demands\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to perform rigorous physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and whole-body movement, such as standing, reaching, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, carrying over 50 lbs, and repetitive hand motions requiring finger dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
