At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.\nWe are currently seeking a Coater Technician who will be responsible for keeping optical components moving from cleaning operations to coating chamber operations. They will also perform cleaning and inspection of substrates and coated components.\nMain responsibilities:\nCleans, inspects and measures more advanced/complex substrates to ensure quality. \nPackages optical components\nSets up tooling\nLoads parts into chambers\nStarts coating runs\nMay perform tooling fit checks/reviews\nAble to read and comprehend prints for determining specs on surface quality, substrate dimensions, arrow marking for side one and side two, packaging requirements\nMay begin training and/or perform second check chamber start\nUnderstanding of non-conforming material and how to scrap material\nUnderstanding of substrate material\nInspection of normal product\nTrained on ISO / mil / final inspection\nRaising tech issues with tooling, specs, process sheets, etc\nUnderstanding defect types\nOther tasks as assigned\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred.\nTeamwork - works effectively within the team. \nExperience working in a cleanroom environment\nAt least 2 years of work experience in a process manufacturing environment is desired\nPay Range: $21.00- $26.00 per hour, depending on experience.\nOur facility in Boulder, Colorado, has key functions in Research and Development, Operations, Production, and other disciplines.
