At Excelitas Technologies you are how we EXCEL.\nThe Production Planner II is responsible for all planning aspects related to production. This includes management of all work orders in support of on-time delivery. The Production Planner II acts as liaison for the Customer Service team and other internal support groups such as Supply Chain, Quality and Warehouse team to coordinate the timely movement of manufacturing processes and materials.\nMain Responsibilities:\nSchedule incoming sales orders in a timely manner and address order issues with Customer Service\nMonitor forecasts and inventory levels of all products and proactively adjust production plans.\nCreate and maintain up to date Production Work Orders in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system to reflect operational needs as well as production capacity.\nCollaborate with the Supply Chain team to always ensure available inventory of raw goods.\nNotify the Customer Service team of any impact that changes in deliveries may generate, to avoid or reduce disruptions in the level of service.\nMaintain and update the scheduling parameters in the ERP system, such as manufacturing lead time, production batch sizes etc.\nCoordinate the scheduling and releasing work orders to ensure smooth release material from the warehouse to production.\nCoordinate and monitor the flow of repair and warranty units coming from the technical service team.\nWork with peer planners to maintain a rolling 12-month production plan in line with forecasts.\nTrack and expedite components, work orders and quality inspect throughout the production process.\nAnalyze planning impacts due to engineering changes and develop plans to minimize the effect on production.\nParticipate in improvement projects related to relevant responsibilities.\nOther duties as assigned.\nRequirements:\n2+ years’ experience in production planning, inventory management, or supply chain.\nCollege or university degree in operations management, Supply Chain Management, or related field.\nAPICS (CPIM) Certification is considered an asset.\nWorking experience with an MRP system; including elements of production planning and scheduling.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.\n\nKnowledge of forecasting, inventory management, and production scheduling principles.\n\nStrong verbal and written English communication skills, including report writing and documentation.\n\nHighly organized, self-motivated, resourceful, and detail-oriented.\n\nProven ability to manage priorities, adapt to changing business needs, and work effectively under pressure.\n\nAbility to collaborate successfully within a diverse, cross-functional team environment.\n\nExperience working in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, and/or FDA QSR-compliant environments is considered an asset.\n\nEqual Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer\nMinorities/Females/Disability/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation\nExcelitas is seeking leaders and innovators to join our global team!
